Here is version 2.0 of the Alternate Combat Animations pack! All the animations have been redone and there are too many new things to spell out here. The revised v3 is great, but not as good as v2: v2 affected only your own pc, while v3 affects every pc, which I incidentally don't like. Even if I play a ninja and the v3 indeed adds some nice moves to her, I don't want all barbarians or dwarven tanks I run into to move like ninjas when they fight. If someone could just please update v2 to be compatible with 1.66 I'd be extremely pleased:D

Hi all, this is my first posting. I also have the Platinum edition of NWN and although I'm able to modify hands, weapons and such, the alternate combat files are ignored when in the override folder. Please let me know if anyone has any solutions. Thanks!

***probably solution*** 1.use nwhak.exe to unpack acp_(style).hak (the hakfile from acp3, ex: acp_assassin.hak). nwhak.exe may be found in nwn directory /utils. choose File -> Open -> (select file) -> Resource -> Export all ->(choose a directionary) 2. rename p???.mdl from p???.mdl to p??0.mdl (ren p???.mdl p??0.mdl) copy all files to nwn/override 3.done. --------- if you want to change fighting styles, just do those again.

***probably solution*** 1.install your v2 first 2.use nwhak.exe to unpack acp_(style).hak (from acp3,just the style you want to use. ex: acp_assassin.hak). nwhak.exe may be found in nwn directory /utils. choose File -> Open -> (select file) -> Resource -> Export all 2.there are many files exported, but we only use p???.mdl. rename those files from p???.mdl to p??0.mdl 3.copy those "p???.mdl" to your override directionary done. --------- ......anyway, it looks better than v2.

Anonymous: The problem is that v3 is a hak with much more limited use. v2 made a great override that made ~all~ modules looks fantastic. Using v3 as an override is not only a major pain, but also way too specific. Those of us who still prefer v2 are hoping someone will be able to update it for 1.66. Right now, my female humans fight with the horrid old default animations. :(
