Travelers from all over the realm have made the journey to Port Maddog to attend The Midsummer Carnival Of Wonders. But for the guild called The Shadowdwellers, it is not a time of celebration. Prince Garrick, the rightful heir to the throne, has been kidnapped. Deep beneath the streets of the fog-shrouded city, a meeting has been arranged. A man named Scathe claims to have information vital to Prince Garrick's rescue and safe return. He'll give it to you... for a price. Same commentary as GTO, really: brilliant stuff. My only complaint is that I couldn't get enough of it.

This is really building on the already solid Part 1. The quests are really inventive, the whole carnival was a stroke of genius, and the bits of humor in the dialogue were refreshing and just so darn funny. Excellent mod! :D

Even it's getting a bit old now, it's still a good module.good atmosphere, npc's are alive and some good humor. The negative things i could find were as mentioned before, too many doors that can't be unlocked(for a rogue module that is) and i'm missing a journal entry in the end. But i love the mod nevertheless.

Definitely better than the previous module, Grand Theft Otto, but it still feels slight content-wise, and shows its age. The story this go-round is quite a bit more interesting, and it is not hard to get into character and feel like you are doing something important. The humor is not quite my style, and while the amusement park section was rather cute, it was also jarring. There is nothing like midi versions of "It's a Small World" and the Beetlejuice theme music to jolt you out of fantasy roleplaying experience. I realize that with names like "Grand Theft Otto" and "Metal of Honor" one can expect that these modules are parodies, but they are not advertised as such, really. Lastly, I will note that neither this module nor Grand Theft Otto feature "heavy roleplaying", in spite of what the mod description says.

Average module. Better than the first module.

Good design and custom content, with a touch of humor I really appreciated. No COT3, unfortunately...

I liked this better than the first. This was a fun romp.

Better than the first, but there's still an error in it: If you want to refuse the 2nd 1,000 gold pieces from the Constable after completing the Small Realm quiz, you have to break the dialoge with the [esc] key. Though it seems you have to take it, breaking the dialogue prevents it from starting over and Scathe will never appear at the entrance. I had to us a saved file and do it over again. The dialogue should be fixed, not to have another reward given out, but rather to have Scathe appear. _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them.
