Travelers from all over the realm have made the journey to Port Maddog to attend The Midsummer Carnival Of Wonders. But for the guild called The Shadowdwellers, it is not a time of celebration. Prince Garrick, the rightful heir to the throne, has been kidnapped. Deep beneath the streets of the fog-shrouded city, a meeting has been arranged. A man named Scathe claims to have information vital to Prince Garrick's rescue and safe return. He'll give it to you... for a price. Nice work- Having played both now, I really appreciate the effort that goes into creating them. Very enjoyable, esp. the hints of Lankmar and beloved Thieve's World. Lovely stuff!

The talking sword idea was fun! As with the previous module, I was left with my fingers itching for some additional detail - for instance, the pubkeep spilling out rumours is a great idea, but the way he says them all at once, I have a gut feeling I'll never need to talk to him again. The crazy it's-a-small-world side story was fun too, I had the tune playing in my head (luckily it didn't drive me nuts quite as effectively). I never knew the idea was being used outside of the downtown amusement park in here (Europe, Finland, Helsinki) - their doll ride must be ages old but it's still relatively charming. I like your humour! Arthur and his wife ("...for marrying the witch..." - oh, she /is/ one?) were a nice side quest that showed up in the final party too, and the music played there was a nice glance back too - although I felt silly that when I promised my new liege that I'd kill Mouse the next time I saw him, I had no choice but to play along when he was hitting on three girls... I'm left to wonder when the evil wizard'll make a return. :) (Oh, for some reason the evil wizard reminded me of a mad cow - the first module might have use for a tongue-in-cheek but visible explanation on why the mad cow on the street becomes aggressive when the thugs back at Cutthroat alley attack me. He's in on the plot somehow?)

Hi Wynne, Your modules are and will ever be my absolute favourites! Mouse for Presitent! I really love the humour you put into the story. The finished-and-all-over party was a funny ending especially with the beloved carnival music ;) For me individual and story driving NPCs are the most important part of a REALLY good module and there you achieved a really high standard. Firiel
Hey i realy like your module so i want to know if your planning to make a 3rd?

Saurstalk - The events aren't keyed by the in-game "time," but by your actions. The carnival won't open until you've talked to Natherd at "The Drunken Skunk" tavern.

Saurstalk, You have to finish the ride quest first. Go to the far east of the carnival, talk to the constible and start investigating.
