Welcome to Gourmont, home of the Northern Province Culinary Competition, once a year host to some of the realm's greatest chefs. And after they depart, they leave behind them some of the tastiest dishes ever created. But something tastes funny in Gourmont. Beneath the town's sugary coating lies simmering bitter rivalries, sour feelings, and spicy conspiracies. Will you be thrown into the boiling pot of intrigue? Or will you solve the mystery at the bottom of the bowl? Features include a town populated by quirky NPC's, four unique henchmen that interact with other NPC's and provide help in quests, multiple quest endings and plot directions based on role-playing choices, several surprising custom creatures, and challenging puzzles. Warning: Includes dark humor and themes of cannibalism, addiction, and moral ambiguity. Not for children. The player should also have a moderate tolerance for kitchen puns.
This is a cool, witty, well-written module. The options are fantastic, and I never felt hemmed-in by my character choices. Brilliant.

This module has good writing and a unusual story. Last dungeon is probably my least favorite part. It has high hp low danger enemies that I find kind of boring. Mostly very good.

too serious to be humorous, too humorous to be serious, with a lovecraftian mood would be excellent

Anyone know where I can find salt for the kitchen challange? Or is something else called "Ocean's Blood"? I have checked the entire level over 3X and can find no salt anywhere. I only have the Autumn Recipe to do so I can finish! Thanks...

I was impressed with this mod. From the description it seemed to be a comedy-themed mod, and those don't really interest me. But when I tried it out I found a very engaging story. The NPCs are interesting to talk to, and there were lots of nice touches like using the druid's amulet. I rate this 8.75 out of 10.

This is a great module! I'm still playing through it and having a lot of fun. Very original and well-polished. All of your hard work is being enjoyed :) Only nitpicks: Wasn't clear what level this was indented for before I started it, neither in the readme or the module desc. Only on the vault. Sinse I have so many modules on my system, it's nice to see that info when I'm offline. I felt like I was inundated with quests while I explored the town. I wasn't sure where to start. I hired the lizard guy right off the bat. He got killed, and so did I right after. I respawned in the druid grove, but the lizard seems to be gone. Is this intentional, or is he hiding somewhere so I can hire him again? And just a note: I'm running a 1Ghz, 512mb system (low-powered for these days) and I haven't experienced any of the crashes mentioned in the posts below.
