Welcome to Gourmont, home of the Northern Province Culinary Competition, once a year host to some of the realm's greatest chefs. And after they depart, they leave behind them some of the tastiest dishes ever created. But something tastes funny in Gourmont. Beneath the town's sugary coating lies simmering bitter rivalries, sour feelings, and spicy conspiracies. Will you be thrown into the boiling pot of intrigue? Or will you solve the mystery at the bottom of the bowl? Features include a town populated by quirky NPC's, four unique henchmen that interact with other NPC's and provide help in quests, multiple quest endings and plot directions based on role-playing choices, several surprising custom creatures, and challenging puzzles. Warning: Includes dark humor and themes of cannibalism, addiction, and moral ambiguity. Not for children. The player should also have a moderate tolerance for kitchen puns.
Jules - You're Brilliant!!! I really hope you'll take the time & make another Module soon. I started out being frustrated with NW, and jumped to a little Mod for fun "Tales of the Kitchen Boy", Jack.....who I then used appropriately in your module - And it was Perfect and added all the right touches & humor I needed. Your Script, detailed props, quests, inside jokes kept me on the edge of my seat. I had quite a few moments holding my breath on some of those battles but having finally won the game I feel much smarter/accomplished and am so glad I skipped the main story for enjoyment of these little modules. I did have a few plot lines that didn't seem supported enough in the original story....such as the Teddy, missing loot, Crystal, and confusion on a plot line that played out long after a henchman needed for it died but hey life went on & I'm better for it. So May your Muse Strike again - I'm Waiting!!!!!

This module is actually quite good! The plot while somewhat humorous was quite good and enjoyable. The only downside to this module is combat which was perhaps a bit too hard/numerous. Still i can recommend this.

T_King- Doesn't this approach Really, really limit the number of modules you can play? It would pretty much wreck most of the decent modules- dreamcatcher, midnight etc out there... still- if it works for you- who am I to criticize? go for it..

I read the posts on this module and even though I don't like riddles, puzzles, or complicated quests I thought maybe it would be good. Possible spoilers ***** I did what I typically do when entering a new module. I explored all the maps and killed anything that was hostile. I went through the town area then to a forest, found a graveyard and killed a bunch of zombies, enter all but one crypt and killed the monsters there too. I continued wondering around killing stuff. I finally came to a wizard tower. I found when I went to go in the wizard was very rude. So I busted down the door and went into the tower and killed everthing. I then encountered some doors that when I attempted to proceed the wizard said he would let me proceed if I answered a riddle. I hate riddles so I decided when I got to the wizard he would die. I went back to town and to the cave I had found and explored it killing everything I found. When I went to town I decided ok maybe time to talk to people. I decided to start with the mayor which I found in an Inn. The 1st thing she says to me is I should kill you for killing my brother. That was all I needed. I attacked her, but she can't be harmed. So I slaughtered everyone in the Inn that could be. I proceeded through the town slaughtering everyone and everything. Well I really don't like being threatened. So I guess the module is finished for me since I killed pretty much everything. I guess this just wasn't my kind of module after all. Don't worry about me rating it. I don't rate modules that aren't my kind of module.
