Sandy Valley Days is a Single-Player medium-roleplaying module designed for replayability... there are over 200 combinations of plot choices, not including optional quests. Though considerable danger and combat can be found, the storyline can be completed in numerous ways without any fighting. Average gameplay is between 1 and 7 hours, and varies widely depending on plot choices and amount of exploration done. Set in a medium-sized town in a high-magic world, this adventure is for characters of levels 9-12.

Not a bad module at all. Guess I went about it differently from some since I never ran into the riddle door or the Book of Three that others mentioned, but I did get the beta copy and release date. That was the main point, right?
Well, I see that Darklighter figured out the riddle door ("Book of Three"), but I have not - and it's making me crazy. I have little hope that anyone will actually read this post, but I will be optimistic and do it anyway. I really enjoyed this module otherwise.

Faction errors trigger many to be hostile and there's too much running around.
Watching the roleplaying game at B.A's is too long to try replaying this again even with different paths.
Worth one try, but that is it. _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them.
Just started playing it. Love it, especially with the refrences to 'Knights of the Dinner Table'. _________________________ By Clargin, may my axe hit true!

I've just finished playing the module and maybe I"ll play it again with a low intelligence character so as to experience some different aspects of the game. My char was a wiz and the respawning monsters gave me a hard time, especially inside the crypt where it took me a while to realize that moving in certain areas could trigger the respawning. Out in the wilderness I had an easier time, though the enemies were difficult, but I've managed. It needed good planning. Truth be told, the respawning can spoil the fun for spellcasters. At least a little bit.
The module is highly replayable. You are free to complete the main quest following different paths and even finish it within an hour or two. I really enjoyed meeting with B.A and his friends. I wish it would had lasted longer :). The bard was a pleasant fellow and having him singing was such a great idea. I just sat in a chair and listened to all of his songs. Well done :). The quest with the beetles is a little tricky cause it can make players to descend into the sewers over and over till they realize that this side-quest is related to the main one. Although I like the idea of having a town filled with people that I can see their names, it can be time-consuming for the players. When I was in the wilderness I entered Fell's house but he didn't talk to me so it came as a surprise to see curst warriors, vampires and other undead creatures. I don't no what I've missed.
But I had fun playing the module. It's innovative, entertaining, surely something different.
I am not into parody and the module category is City Adventure nevertheless I was having some fun looking for a job with no marketable skills and so on. Ventured "underground" just to get that job it was not too bad except for the respawning monsters. Unless the module is also a parody of PWs I don't think that this was necessary, in fact, I am opposed to respawing monsters (may be it's ok if the timer is set to one game day or so) in most cases. My character cleared the area up to the crypt entrance on the way back got attacked while trying to collect stuff. You cannot rest btw so you either have to defeat the creatures or sneak pass them if you can. I will probably give up if I cannot retrieve the items I need.

Hilariously funny and pretty tight all-around.

Nevermind, I got it... thanks.

Greetings...
Enjoying the MOD so far, good work. I am stuck at the Riddle door ("book of 3") in the workshop. I have tried several things off the top of my head, but no luck. If you could email me the answer (or post /hint), I'd appreciate it.

"To all MODmakers... although most people enjoy a good puzzle, there are those of us who play games for fun, to escape having to think (or do math). If you wish to put an non-obvious puzzle in your MOD, please put a hint in the readme (or game itself), or offer another solution. Many of these "puzzles/riddles" can bring the game to a halt (as this one has for me). I'm in my 30's, and between my daughter and my job life is puzzling enough ;-)
Thanks for listening...

I'm sure this riddle is simple, but I'm obviously not thinking along the right track. Thanks in advance for the help!
PS: Look fwd to your next MOD too.

A personal favorite, really quirky.

It's amazing how good this is for a module that has not been updated for over 2 years. It was fun. It had some rough spots, for me, and I don't like the constantly respawning enemies that just appear on top of you, but it was fun.

A great module with a fine sense of adventure. I found some of the side quests a little too dull to give it a perfect 10.

Lets try this again, not sure how I managed to not post on the last message.
I just played this mod with a dumb (6 INT) traditional half-orc barbarian and had a blast. It is one of the 1st mods I have played that had the conversations "dumbed" down for low intelligent characters.
While, there were a few odd things that may have been bugs and I never did find an Ending sequence, it was a lot of fun and I am planning on playing it again with a smarter character so I can see what I missed the first time.
