This Module tries to emulate the play and feel of original PnP version as strongly as I could within my time, my scripting and NWN limitations. I also had to make certain compromises to make the mod enjoyable as a computer game version of D&D ;-) Here it is set in the Forgotten Realms (rather than Greyhawk (sorry)). It contains custom scripts and content which comes in a hak file provided in the module zip file. The encounters here are toned down some from my original version. This is intended as the final version.

Forgot:
-.25: Ending abrupt... at least I found no official way to end the module. _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them.

-.25: Didn't like the tunnels - I felt like everything should be linked to the tomb itself.
-.25 - Henchmen - Tomi could never disarm the traps. Their power was set too high.
Some fine tuning and this is a great module.

(Double-post not intended; internet malfunction. My comments still stand.)

One of the worst modules I've had the misfortune to play. Save your time; read up on the past comments. Wish I had.

I have no idea how this game got such a high rating. I have never been so simultaneously bored and frustrated. Skip this module and go for one made by someone who can script.

Very odd, took a look at the creature's custom code briefly, didnt see anything which would stop her from resting.
You could try this..
go into debug mode (press ~ then type in DebugMode 1) and type in (after pressing ~ again etc..)
dm_setspellresistence 100 and click on the character.
type in DebugMode 0 to get out of debug mode. Do the same thing but with 'dm_setspellresistence 0' to go back.
Her spell resistance due to magical items etc.. might be more than 0 but depending on class etc it might be more. Anyway, you should be able to save the character w.o. this saving with it.
Good luck.
Good Luck.

Just about through the module...There's two of us playing. We had just freed the Fey, went back beyond the password protected door, fought a big battle with the nasty thing (sorry, can't for the life of me remember what it was--big round thing with all the eye stalks) and my partner was charmed or dominated by it. No matter what we do, we can't get her undominated, even though nothing calls out that she is charmed or controlled other than if she tries to rest (says she can't do that in her current condition).
Is this a bug, or is there something specific we're supposed to do?
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Ok, please disregard my earlier post...I found the message from Sirene and worked out the coffin puzzle. :D

Hello, I'm having fun here, but I"m stuck at about the same part as the previous poster...I found the Eye of Nether in a cave, but no nymph was present...it was just kind of floating in a shaft of light.
So my questions are:
1. where do I use this eye?
and
2. How do I get past the bars on the bridge that are trapping me in here? They seem indestrucible.

**SPOILERS*******
1. Its been awhile but I believe you get the Eye of the Nether from Sirene the dryad trapped in the cave.
2. I believe that you need to destroy the containment urn to free her in order to get the eye of the nether, she will tell you wherabouts to use the eye of the nether.
If you havent seen Sirene (spelling?) then you havent seen the whole dungeon level yet.
Pretty good dungeon crawler. But now I'm stuck. I got to the Urn of Containment and from there the game seems to just stop. Can't open the Urn, smashed it and there is no remains. Seems a bit anti climactic, why go to all this trouble to guard an empty urn?
I'd already scoured the 1st level to work out the password puzzle so I knew I'd found everything I was going to find.
So, being stuck, I reluctantly opened the cheat sheet. Seems from here I need to use an "Eye of the Nether" to open a secret door in a random part of the dungeon. Okay, no kidding now:
1) Where is this Eye of the Nether?
2) Does the Urn of Containment in fact contain nothing?

Not a bad module. Calling it Tomb of Horrors is a bit of a misnomer, however. It is evident that this module is inspired by Tomb of Horrors but the adventure itself bears almost no resemblance at all. None of the familiar traps and puzzles are present here.
This is definitely not a module conversion.
It does have a few interesting puzzles and some of the encounters are quite challenging. I enjoyed it overall though I wish it was more accurately named so I would not have been expecting something more like the real Tomb of Horrors.
