Description
This is a strongly story-driven adventure that will take you through an underground Drow city, then, as the title implies, much deeper into the Underdark. There will be interesting characters and unexpected plot twists, and the subterranean environments are dark and atmospheric. Nearly all the monsters are custom-created, and should offer a few surprises themselves. There are no henchmen, nor are there any traps that can't be easily avoided by non-rogues. There is plenty of action, and lots of opportunity to kill creatures that don't look like us... because that's rather the point, isn't it?
well-made hack and slash adventure, but the story never really hooked me in. if you're looking to bust some skulls, though, this is a good choice.

Very interesting storyline, inventive dungeons and new monsters/items. Dialogue pretty decent, though heavily marred by utterly gratuitous, gross sexism in the opening and closing segments--I both started and was left with a bad taste from that. Items, XP awards, treasure and sales prices available are mostly insanely overpowered; to each their own. The mod had several very memorable moments; the plot twist near the end, of course, and also the nicely designed, novel side dungeons. One significant bug: In the undead-killer's tomb side adventure, I charged directly into the attack and had to fight only one of the undead horde tormenting their victim; after it fell, the others remained seated and motionless, allowing me to walk up and cut them to pieces for full, massive XP awards. And one piece of practical advice: Your original idea of putting a chest over the secret door required to solve the game was a *great* idea and would have made the weird location *much easier* to find, not harder. *Of course* people have trouble finding it now. It goes against the virtual-reality concept to minutely scan a floor for glowing blue patches. People look for switches, levers, and most certainly for odd movable/destroyable items. Also, I believe your ReadMe hints say the door is the SE corner when it is actually in the SW (?).

Hi Warlock, Sorry it didn't go well for you. If the fights were boring, maybe you were using a character that was too powerful. No, the rogue isn't supposed to follow you... if you try to open the door after he disappears, you'll know what he's all about. As for the ending, sounds like you got off-track somewhere, though I don't know how. If the mod is working correctly, you shouldn't be able to return to the city or the bazaar after killing the Prime Overlord. Was he a little feller, non-hostile? Maybe you killed the wrong guy... -Lokarian

The story was decent, and there were amusing bits. Some of the items found were keepers too. The amount of large, heavy loot was a tad frustrating; I took the challenge of balancing my backpack to maximize cash-income, but it got a bit ridiculous with earning some 2M during the module (played with a level 20 character). There were some bugs in the module and brought out by the module - any room with some >3 Harm-caster NPCs turns into a death trap because two harms cast at approx. the same time bug out and kill you (I suspect it a bug since it's against the described behaviour), and NPCs tend to synchronize their moves a lot since they all notice you at the same time and so on. Another bug, this one in the module itself, was the Drow rewarding me in the end; I accidentally talked to her twice, and got the exp and money twice too. I figure my general mood was strongly affected by the start; lots of NPCs who don't say anything are a bit bothersome, while from one-liner babblers you get quick confirmation that you've actually managed to talk to them. Eg. the gypsies in the start inn confused the daylights out of me. Another thing that I slightly disliked was being railroaded in large areas - the town and the sanctum, mainly. That is, I've been told where to go and have no reason to go to the other spots, but then I have to go snoop around there anyway because you never know what you find... Well, in this case, more of large and heavy loot. ;) Nice module for money, decent for experience too.

Just finished this mod, or should I say end it, after endless boring fights, i kill the overlord, then nothing happens, i go all the way back, and even the Kresh... in the crosssomething market are not hostile, turn out that everybody in the palace is, including the Oversee, also it seems that he doesn't have a winning dialogue, at least not in that area. That rogue, is he suppose to follow me? because he didn't, even altough I spoke with him several times telling the same thing. 3/10, expected more from a mod with a 8.47(at the moment)

Full of bugs, lacks dialogue, endless boring fights, you enter in a room and there are 3 dozen of the same type of creatures waiting for you, you kill them all, you enter another room, the same thing, after much time, the guy who I was doing the quest turn out to be hostile.

When you "refuse to take the quest", Lord Dracul? Why on earth would you go to all the trouble to download the module, and then refuse to accept the quest? That's like ordering pizza and then refusing to eat it.
