It started out as such a simple quest... there you were, a bold adventurer, seeking a magic staff. There was an inn on the edge of nowhere, with a group of friendly locals willing to help... and then matters got more and more complicated, more horrific. A maze of sorrow and despair unfolded before your very eyes, enveloping all... a maze that sang a song of lamentation for those who have passed away. An elegy. ...a dramatic story-driven module, by Stefan Gagne. Full Version includes a full soundtrack, voice acting, and intro movie. (Updated to v1.1)
I wanted to give this one a shot, but when I'm unable to get WinRAR to open the zip file... I keep getting an error message. I don't know if the file has been corrupted or what but I was able to open part 2 without a problem. Anyone else having issues?
Loved the quest, the atmoshpere, the music. Great piece of work! So is the sequel!

I'll Never forget this module and the history, and the character. I enjoyed it very much. The main thing here is the dramatic sequel you are into. In my case i really cared about the poor family Elegia. Simple But brillant.

A good module, very original. I liked the music in The Oubliette : it reminds me X 1999 anime series ^^

Excellent. Professional in every way. As has been said before, more roleplaying options for other non-good alignments might have been wise, but you admirably (and amazingly) set that to rights in the sequel. I had a hell of a time. The atmosphere in this is chilling and well done.

A nice module. However, I have been forced to correct the eternisboss script and replay from the start because the demon infernistag does not exist and then cannot arrive by a jump... Yet I am not sure I took the right one (001, 1 or 2). Farther more : The number of the event sets from 1 to 2 is followed by the event 2 (It is delayed but it is not secured). Good work anyways. Thank you

A nice, fun diversion. I actually liked that it was short. "Variety is the spice of life" and whatnot. Very well polished: I didn't run into any bugs, and the voice cast was not only lent a sense of freshness but also performed well. That's something that not all commercial products can boast. One of the voices sounded familiar, but it was probably my imagination. Although it could probably be improved in some way, it's solid as-is and does not need to be.

It's been a while since I last played it, but this is easily one of my favourite modules. Loved the atmophere and how the story all fit together.

Really excellent mod; great story, great atmosphere... kind of short but still very memorable.
