*groans* vote vanished on this one too. okay, reestablish my vote, plus re-complain about the pain in the backside ring/pillar puzzle. I don't think I've legitimately solved the thing in 6 play throughs. had to have Pirotase solve it for me. I think I got close once, but had a minor move error that prevented me from finishing it. I'm just glad there was an option for Pirotase to do it for me, sure, you miss out on the xp, but it's better then not being able to proceed at all. other then that I have no complaints. . .other then wishing the series had gotten finished, that is. _________________________ jml's list of community addons/overrides, etc. Link

As we all know Rick was hired by Bioware some years ago and this project was never finished. We only knew he had moved to Austin to Bioware's new facility to work on some super secret project. Today we know that project to be Star Wars: The Old Republic. Sneaking a peak at the credits for the game on the website we see Rick's name appear as a Sub-Lead World Designer. So I just wanted to say to Rick congrats on the new game. Beta was fantastic and I am looking forward to many years of adventure in the Star Wars Universe. Thank you for all your work here in the NWN community and all your future work with Bioware. Great job!

Good for Diable fans. True Dnd (role) players may find it frustrating.
A lot easier with all the goodies from chapter I and II. However resting restriction is enforced and cannot be removed (12 Hours in my case - Hardcore setting) and your horse is gone forever.
Score Increased fro 3.00 to 4.5
3-4: It is clear the author tried to make something interesting, but still fell short.

Pity it will never be complete.

May not be worth it.
Pros:
+ outstanding scripting, cutscenes and visual effect.
+ Pirotase
Cons:
- often frustrating (combats)
- not very paladin like (more like a shady knight)
- the author has as a rather biased view of a paladin forcing the player to play a rather one dimensional character without flexibility in terms of style, stats, skills, feats...
- story (3rd chapter) not complete
3-4: It is clear the author tried to make something interesting, but still fell short. With more work it might be worth the download.

Nevermind, I fail... Oh, and 9.5/10 from me. Only thing that's keeping it from 10 is the STUPID two prisoners puzzle. The light room in Twilight was bad, but this one takes the cake for most obnoxious plot blocking puzzle I've ever run in to.

HELP! I think I managed to sell the IX stone. Or at least it's nowhere to be found in I. Nox as far as I can tell (yes, I've read the spoiler). Is there any way to make one with dm_spawnitem?
Need some serious help here. I would love to play this module, but it won't load for me. After I "finish" Twilight, or even if I export my character before the final cutscene and start Midnight seperately, it simply freezes up on the first loading screen called "Mooncrest Prison." The bar fills up, but the process never completes.
I THINK I have all the psrts in the proper files, but, to be bluntly honest, the Drider 1.5 hakpak has so much crap and so little documentation its pathetic. Any ideas?
Not sure if anyone is still answering. I cannot get the cutscenes to play out after the redemption. I did both the quests. However, when I get to my cutscence at Ito's house it just freezes. Whats up? I also keep walking around in a herky jerky m otion when I use the mouse to move.

One of the greatest modules around. The scripting is unbelievable. Cinematics the nicest I ever saw, even if the NWN editor doesnt seem to be the best tool for those things.
An amazing henchwoman with a remarkable AI. A fantastic amount of work behind everything, so good that you wont even feel it.
And last but not least, its probably the most beautiful, on a design point of view, I played.
Even being a 2003 module.
Ill never forget that pyramid.
PS: Puzzles should not prevent you from playing, as theyre all manageable, either by cheating, jumping or reading the walkthrough or a combination of all. Most of them give you a solid 300xps, just in case... ;-)
As there is so much hiding behind those evil brain damaging little games.
A must play.
Fantastic job, Rick, thanks.

***** SPOILERS*****
I found a couple of bugs around the Armors of Guiding Light.
I'm at the Desecrated Altar in the Mooncrest Temple, about to cast some Pray spell on it, only it seems I don't have the proper armor at that very moment.
I found a way to spawn every armor of GL, from +1 to +3, but I wanna play it as fair as possible, and wondering which one is the one I'm supposed to get for desecrating that temple?
The +2, or only a darker +1?
Thanks! _________________________ @ + jml, level 52

Hmm something is wrong, many people voted one for twilight ,people may not like this module but this mod doesnt deserve 1. And puzzles are very common and old puzzles, given to 7 ,8 year old kids. This is one of my fav mods. _________________________ Neverwinter Balance Patch Balance Patch

@Skull-
err.. i dont recall having to find wine for a cook.. nor do i recall there being a cook in this mod...at least none in the very beginning. could be that i just don't remember since it has been a good year since I've played it last. did the monks have a cook? if they did and that's the one you are referring to check the monk's tents outside.. likely where it'd be if its there. _________________________ jml's list of community addons/overrides, etc. Link

Decided to play through these again after a couple of years... still two of the best mod of all time. Love the story; Pirotase is the most well-developed henchman ever. Anyone who hasn't played through this and the predecessor Dusk is really missing out. It's a shame that the third and final chapter will apparently not be made, but it's worth playing anyway.
I did run into a strange bug this time through... as I was leaving the Underdark, the drow there were not hostile, and ever since that point none of the NPC's were hostile even when they obviously should be. Strange.

toborx, I had that bug as well . . . can't remember exactly what I did, but I definitely re-loaded. Sometimes when the game has been running a long time things get sluggish/don't trigger (the computer heats up), so I'd suggest trying it when the computer is "fresh." Other than that, I have no suggestions . . . sorry I couldn't be more helpful. :( _________________________ If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar, a hoper, a prayer, a magic-bean-buyer. I'm experiencing a bug and I wonder if anybody has a workaround: While on the search for the evil cult a cut scene occurs at the tavern in the docks. After the man walks up to the bar the game simply stops.

Great modules, Twilight and Midnight. Had lots of fun playing them, the puzzles were mostly interesting (Exception: That room with those braziers, I tried it for more than an hour until I gave up and had to read the walkthrough... >: ).
Good use of Paladin-equipment and skills/feats as well as Pirotase's abilities - she's a well-developed character and our Paladin would be more than lost without her.
The scripting is excellent. Alltogether one of my top 5 favourites.
You get 10.00 from me although I am very disappointed because the trilogy isn't complete :.( . Maybe there is still hope for Dawn... pretty please^^

Some improvement over Twilight. I like the story, especially the part that steal the keystone from the vault (who said Paladin shouldn't steal?) and also the puzzles. Without the puzzles, there is not much good gameplay from this game. And near the ending, your last quest just involve killing some random creatures in 3 small maps. I find it amazing that so many people give it a 10.
If anyone is still reading this:
I can't find my way back to the children's playground to go to The Burning Sands.
I opened the Portal, but then left and did Bloodmoon.
Will I be able to finish?
First off, excellent mod! Story is definitely getting better and better as its going along.
**SPOILER** Im about to enter bloodmoon and it looks like the place is inhabited by vampires/undead. Left my magic mace topside and didnt bring it down due to weight issues. Low Str, high Char paladin. Seeing as how the game rarely gives out any gold I couldnt afford to buy a magic bag so I couldnt carry around all three magic weapons at one time. Tried to go back topside and obviously game wouldnt allow that. Any suggestions? Otherwise it looks like I have to revert ALL the way back to a previous save, which I dont look forward to doing. Thanks for any and all suggestions.

It might be unfair, but I don't really like the storyline of this otherwise wonderful game.

Personally, I'm one of the people who hasn't given up. Even if we haven't seen Dawn, I'm willing to wait on a chance. I'd prefer to contact Rick if I can, since as far as I know, he hasn't said anything himself ever since the interview, so we're in the dark on the subject. I've played through the entire thing a while ago, though, and even if Dawn never comes into the light, I'm still glad that we've gotten as much as we have from Rick.
So, I'll keep on waiting, regardless. I suppose that's it's better that there isn't a contact, though, since it would have been flooded by now. Ah, well.

One of the best modules I've played. I thought parts of Twilight were a bit dry (but the end was amazing), but Midnight was definitely awesome. Pirotase is one of the best henchmen I've seen and a very complex character. Her interactions with the PC were very good and got emotional responses out of me.
I only thought that Ashram was a bit more childish in this one . . . but he's still a good antagonist.
Anyway, good mix of combat, roleplay (made me like paladins a bit more than usual), and puzzles. Too bad Dawn seems to be hopeless unless the fans can make it. _________________________ If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar, a hoper, a prayer, a magic-bean-buyer.
