The story focuses on a single character, so multiplayer won't really work with the story.

Description
You awaken from a horrible dream, the sole survivor of a devastating massacre with no memory of your past. Journey to the nearby town of Hemdale to begin piecing together who you are and finding your place in destiny. This is the beginning of a story about knowing oneself. About the fact that who we truly are is not determined by yesterday, but by the actions we take today, now, every moment. 'A Knight proves his worthiness through his deeds.' ~The Mighty *Note* Part 2 has been released and uploaded to the Vault. Find it in the module index, or use this link: http://nwvault.ign.com/Files/modules/data/1037420073669.shtml

A quick, enjoyable module, although most of the areas felt too big and empty for what was in them. The story hooked me, so I'm disappointed to find out there's no conclusion to this series.

- shop buy for very low prices
- inn area is definitely too big
- upon death "PC properties" are given - they are unsellable and cannot be dropped.
- chessboard puzzle is very irritating _________________________ Thanks Rolo:)

The story was the good part in this module and I really liked the custom items you gain towards the end of the mod. The mod was very mysterious and exciting.
But there were some challenges that I didn't like and that I found very frustrating, like the challenge of armour (I think that's the name). Well, I don't want to spoil anything but if you play it you'll see for yourself. Perhaps you won't find it as frustrating as I did and I hope that'll be the case.
Everyone: your VOTES are highly appriciated. A vote is like gold for an author. No kiddin'. ;)

A good one, I was a bit surprised to see the module end where it did, as I had only visited 2 out of 3 roads from the start,
and could have easily taken the module finishing road first.
The puzzles were of high visual and scripting quality, but pretty unchallenging.
The chessboard was the most difficult, but then there wasn't any method to it other than trial and error?
(or seeing the answer from the walkthrough as I did after a while)

Very enjoyable! Having a plot that involves puzzle solving and outwitting your opponent is a pleasant change, as is not having increasing impossible-to-defeat foes. Thanks very much!
P.S. - Looking forward to Part 3 soon! Having Part 1 end in a cliffhanger that leads into Part 2 was nice, but having Part 2 just leave you hanging brings the entire set down somewhat.

I wasn't blown away by this module, but it made for a decent evening's entertainment.

This was a great mod and I really enjoyed it. I didn't run into any problems with the mod itself, but placing it into my mod folder gave me an access violation error when I started NWN up. The mod's page doesn't say it needs the CEP or a hak, perhaps it was because the mod was made with an older version of NWN? Installing the CEP, deleting the mod file and then repasting the mod into my file fixed the error message. Other than that mystery, Part 1 was fun and made well.

Except for that error, an excellent puzzle story. _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them.

Excellent mod - one error though:
If you play evil and kill townsfolk, the ????? guy at the end will be hostile and you cannot talk to him and thus complete the mod.

A confusing, twisted plot (and that's a good thing) marred only by a couple of annoying puzzles.

Very intriguing story. I'm waiting for part 3! ;)

A quick-fix for the elemental problem: Use the DM-menu to put the creature on the right place.
In case you don't know how that works:
Type in the console
##DebugMode 1
bring up the menu ("."-button)
under "creatures" select the air elemental, use the "jump"-button and klick where you want to put it.

Nice mod. Good story. Area layouts were okay and story was a bit too linear but was good. Fight may have been a bit too easy in parts (especially for the XP). Stores sucked.

I have the same problem with the air elemental in the sheild challenge. I have no idea why she doesn't attack. I've checked the faction setting (set to hostile) and she should attack on spawn. It's kinda frustrating to get this far into the module, which I'm really enjoying by the way, and to have a small bug like this get in the way.

Short but nicely designed mod that plays enjoyably. Dialogue is a little clumsy, but good design and imagination in other areas.
Fun: 9 Layout / Design: 10 Dialogue 6 Originality / Creativity 9 Quality Control 10

i had a problem in the test for the shield. the air elemental refuses to attack me until i bash her about thirty times, then when i start to run so she'll chase me, she turns her nose up in the air and stays there until i attack her again. is there some sort of script i can use to bypass her?
Part one starts a notch tough and the game crashes when i finished the shield quest. I restarted with a barbarian half-orc woman for paladin lacks certain feats and first armour of dracyn is chainshirt class (medium armour so far?).
Will have to have luck at ebay to buy those addon SoU/HotU cd's, then I may check part two, am not that impressed though. Scusi, mean it not as harsh as some may (mis-)perceive it.
