Description
Dungeon crawl with a plot. Starts out pretty cliche - find youself locked in a castle full of things trying to kill you. But it gets more involved from there. No NPC conversations, because no one is still around to talk to. Story is told through mysterious books that know all about you. This is the final version, see comments below for details regarding updates. I hope you like it, please tell me what you think. Even if its a 'worst mod in the history of the world and I hope you die a horrible death for making it' reply -those are funny.
Some time ago I added CEP 1.52 to this module but the game would crash every 5 minutes or so. I just finished the same CEP version with my 19th level Conan (now 20) without a single crash. Go figure. BTW, I played this one with the same Arcane Archer twice in a row.

Any comment would be a spoiler ;)

If you ever look at this again Tony, did you release a module after this one? What is it called? Thx.

I agree with some of the critique of the bosses. But I still liked it a lot. I know it takes a long time to do critters right. But a good rule of thumb is to avoid sorcerers. AI is not smart enough to run them well; Wizard is much better because can set the number of spells of each type they will cast. As it is the demon sons were casting Time Stop ~5 times in a row, then summon creature 5 a gazillion times, them summon creature 4... (I was hanging back and chopping up the summons to see what would happen). Occasional immunity to certain spells (harm) is a good idea too. Lots of builders overdo the immunity thing, least you didn't do that, and the "undead" guards were tough anyway. And add more hit points for the final boss. My cleric went up one level. He didn't have too much trouble. I'll have to look up your other module.

Very enjoyable.

A fairly decent hack and slash module. It is good to have some stuff for around level 20 characters. The loot was excessive. _________________________ Forgotten Realms Weave

Probally one of the best modules I have ever played (finished it since my last post). Challenging and Renlentless ( some areas monsters re-spawn) but really enjoyabla. Minor Spoiler:Only complant, is the overused use of "Demons" as bosses. p.s. What a ending to 'tick me off' wait till I find 'you know who' in the sequel!

Overall I enjoyed this module. Some very tough fights and good strategy needed to win them. Some very unique mobs as well. Nice to see something different rather than the same old thing. Nice job.

Excellent Mod. Brilliant idea with the books, very atmospheric giving a good storybook effect. May level 10 rogue/level 10 fighter had to use a few potions and scrolls to survive. Bigest threat for him was the level drain as he had no protection against it. Overall had graet fun. My deepest thanks :)

Not too bad ! Excellent mood and interesting story, even if really linear.
