SEE README LINK FOR FULL MODULE DESCRIPTION. This module, the first installment of the four part Fall of the Empires series, is my first mod. It took roughly 70 hours to build, and has gone through extensive playtesting. It uses tons of custom content, to which all thanks are given in the hak pak, including the Improved Henchman and Battle AI. The hak paks can downloaded as three separate parts ( 2x 17mb .rars, 1x 6mb .rar). This version is now final. Optional movie can be found in the movies section.

Very nice packaging for an otherwise average (yet original) module.
I agree with lebowski and the reviewer on this one.
This module did not really work for my CE half-orc barbarian. The game crashed once or twice (while loading areas) and if they were any henchmen I found no trace of them.
5-6: A good effort that fans of the style will find worth the download.

sometimes badly scripted, but the story and content is superb. _________________________ Thanks Rolo:)
it seems like this module would be good i started getting into it it is very hard to move around in it tho and i also have problems with it the storyline became broken and i could not do anything after the captain defeated me when he attacked the village and if i try to load a saved game on it my nwn crashes so i dont know what to do

I enjoyed it.
Some of the Gate-Transitions was placed the wrong way.
I will continue the rest of the series.

Good starting point. I enjoyed the storyline. A little more time to explore and develop the characters wouldn't have gone amiss. _________________________ "What rough beast, Its hour come round at last,

Not a bad starting mod.

Basically a fetch and minor hack n slash until predetermined end/lead-in to chapter 2. Worth playing for the series' story background. Chapter 2 gets better, and then Chapter 3 gets better yet. _________________________ Does this armor make my butt look big?

The story is interesting. However, as lebowski, the existence of preluege is a bit wierd. The friend travel with you and when the investigation and invasion start. He is no where to be seen?

NOTICE: I doubt anyone still stops in here very regularly, but for anyone that happens by - I do not know if the revamped version of this module will be completed for NWN. I have decided, due to my lack of great enthusiasm for this game anymore, to finish the module series and will most likely wait until NWN 2 to make remastered versions. There is a slight chance I will find the time to work on the revamped one while I do the fourth module, but it is not too terribly likely. It's just not as fun for me as it once was, and remaking something is very tedious for me. So, I will focus instead on finishing the series with a good, solid fourth module...and we shall see what else I am able to do.

Just a small update. The revamped version of this module is still coming along, just in fits and spurts as I find time for it amidst numerous other games. I hope to finish it this summer and get started on the final module, but who knows.

There's a stron feeling of a peculiar setting with a war going on. There is a good use of CC. Unfortunately sometimes it gets too linear, and dialogues could have been much better. As they say it's better to look than to play. _________________________ The hottest new modules you can't miss - player suggested

It worked however it was not an unforgettable mod.
SPOILERS
In fact I found the prologue quite meaningless, a part for speaking a little with your friend, what was the point of that?
The mod itself was not bad, a good atmosphere in the tunnel beneath the city, the city however was quite disappointing since no one is willing to talk a part for quest specific persons. The way you get out of the tunnel in the mansion and everyone one let you go is quite absurd. But as much as when I talked to some guards on the bridge to tell them, in full armor with araldic shield, that a I was a poor lost fisherman. They believed me!!!
Nontheless the story was good and to find that kobold weren't named kobold made everything more interesting. There is quite a lot of effort put in the setting and in background story. The mod is quite linear, but not completely in fact I missed some area because no one said to me to go there (I didn't by myself because I was a spy and was in hurry too).
With some polishing and a ton of more dialogue, it could be wonderful mod, because the use of CC is really cool. _________________________ The hottest new modules you can't miss - player suggested

Very few comment here. I suppose that so many hak are a kind of barrier. I will try this soon enough, as long as you say it works with HotU. By the Way an update to HotU in these days of renewed interest in the community will get you much more visibility. _________________________ The hottest new modules you can't miss - player suggested

There is something wrong with the hak files - I cannot download them. The external server site 'opens' the file, which is unusable.
I hope this is easily remedied.
