UPDATED HoTU/SoU VERSION can be found here: http://nwvault.ign.com/Files/modules/data/1094889114000.shtml CC1: Gates of Myth Drannor is a module designed for 1-4 players of levels 5-10, and is part one of the 3 part Claw Chronicles campaign that should lead the PC's on a grand adventure through the War for the Myth Drannor forest. A forest legendary on the Forgotten Realms for once being the greatest of Elven Cities, until its fall 500 years ago under a sudden attack. To this day its once benign shadows are still overun with Devils, and the minions of Hell. Though the lost treasures of the Elves is enough to pull many a foolish adventurer into its now haunted depths. Someone, however, is starting to fight back.......
Howdy there Heaven. I remember appreciating your feedback, thnx. :) And thanks Ryuu and everyone else for the support. With the release of NWN2 any time now Im starting to plan the ending of the series, but in the updated NWN2 engine. Probably made so that the first parts are not needed to have been played. This is gonna be fun!! See you all in the realms! cheers, Ab.

Yes it has been a long time Abbadon, I first played this mod way back in 2003 right about when NWN was released on the Macintosh. Played it now and again since then, real glad to see an update!

Hey there, been a while, im so busy at the moment with work, etc. :) Thnx for all the constructive crits, and glad most of you enjoy it. Ya, somehow there still seem to be a number of minor things i missed (map markers etc) despite the endless scanning for mistakes. These mods are quite big, some areas copied and used multiple times depending a routes taken, choices made, etc, so it seems many little niggling errors slip by. Gladly, none are show stoppers. There is also an updated version. As for the "favourate NPC" debarcle ;).... these npc's were pc's from a pen and paper game i DM'd so they have their own personalities, ego's, etc. This is not a mod where the PC's wander into a small town and are asked by helpless villagers to kill kobolds. This is the Myth Drannor forest, and these NPC's live there. They are far more powerful than the pc's at this point in the series, but that changes as the quest progresses. Some people are used to always being the most kik ass heroes around in their play style, and seem to be uncomfortable in cc1 cause they just arent. Not that it makes any difference in the actual gameplay anyway. The PC's actually start cc1 at a rather low lvl for such an infamous and dangerous part of the Fogotten Realms. The idea was that over time the pc's catch up then over take the helpful npc's in power, which would be most satisying in the end. Hopefully i finish cc3 oneday so that moment can be enjoyed by all. What i have made of it so far is VERY cool, but i am so very short on time lately so its on indefinite hold. Thnx again, and enjoy. Good luck in your adventures. :)

Everyone has a right to their opinion. I think there may be some truth to the complaint that this module was a bit of an "author's favorite NPC show", but it didn't bother. I don't think the NPCs stole any thunder from the PC, anyway. I played the updated version, so to see my vote and comments look on that page. :) Take care, Riona
