Description
In life you were an Assassin; a killing machine, an engine of Destruction. You were heartless, cold, and calculating. You sold your skills to the highest bidder. That was until you discovered you had a daughter: Fearing for the future of your child, you quit the business and retired to the small farming community of NeverWhere Valley. Your happiness was short-lived. A former employer sent a hit squad to retire you: permanantly. They were successful. It's been 10 years since your death. You Awake in the flaming pits of the Abyss to learn, from a Demon of Ancient and terrible power, That your daughter is in great peril. You are offered a deal: Return to Faerun as a newly empowered minion of the Abyss with the power to save your daughter. In exchange you agree To lead the minions of the Abyss in a future war against Faerun. Can you piece together what has happened to your beloved Genesis? Can you save her in time ?
Mszar: To open the door in the Cloak tower you need to find and defeat a demon named malbolgia. He can be found down the hall way to the left of the doorway thats blocked by boulders. He will drop the Malbolgia Crystal. Take this to the Imp and he will unlock the door for you ...granting you acess to the lower levels. Also in reply to you being stuck: Sounds like you have done most of the side quests and you are ready to go visit the Oracle. You can find her in the Thunder Hills within the Toadknoll caves. Should be easy enough to find :) Caves are marked with a Map note.

Great module. Only downside is the very frequent respawning. The lack of immunity items makes you have to really prepare for each monster type. Looking forward to any sequels.

I enjoyed your module. Finished with my Character: Rogue 10 Ranger 1 Assassin 9. (not often you get to level up a character to 20). Gameplay of 10 to 15 hours an under estimate as it has kept me occupied for closer 20-30 hours even trying to push through areas. Thank you again for an enjoyable adventure and I do look forward to chapter 2 Custom area and Soul forge a nice touch Spoilers Alert Love the soul forge, only ingredients I couldn't find was Lich essence, Pixie bark and Pixie wire, (A hint as to where they were hidden would be appreciated. My only frustrations were the frequency of respawning enemy, and the need to travel through respawning giants (and it was a long trip) to get to the oracle each time. Would it be possible to build into the floating palace a means of going to previously visited locations as well as to point you just exited? Tips to other posters: Vampire quest I only succeeded as rogue and using lots of traps together with summonded and genie magic.... protection Kindred Key, if you found the warriors crypt look to the other side of the map and the answer will tower before you :) Cloak tower can't go up, only down, check with the door guardian as to what needed to pass. Though haaaaaard this is worthwhile area to do the rewards in terms of potential companion(s) :) definitely worth dying for.

Had to work hard to complete, challenging, at times a bit frustrating with e.g. some aspects of traveling through respawning previously hard fought monsters to get back to Oracle. Still an overall sense of satisfaction on completing it. I await Chapter 2 with anticipation.

Stuck too. * Spoiler warning * Did the spider quest. Got the heirloom back for the dwarf. Got the Vampire quest but I am not strong enough yet to go in there and survive. Tired of all these respawn BTW. Can we disable this with some DM command? Got the Elemental Master. Is this a quest BTW? Still looking for the key to open the door in the Oracle cave. If the hobgoblins have it it is going to be tough. Entering the cave w/o spell protection means instant death. Unless you get out fast you will be hit by three ice storm followed by three x5 magic missiles. All the hobgoblins are lvl 10 or so. The bugs in the desert are tough but too slow to catch me. Not sure what to do there. Help please.

I am greatly enjoying this module. Now, though, i am stuck trying to find that damn enclave stone. I have been to the first two floors in the sunken citadel. Also i have been through the cave in the floor on lvl 2 and killed the bone golem. I am an assassin type and have opened all of the chests and killed all of the critters at least once (as far as i can tell) any help locating the stone would be greatly appreciated.

I have erased my old Death Knight character since I am creating three new ones. Therefore I did restart this mod with one of my new Death Knight. First a comment to builders. Roleplaying my existing Death Knight is/was a real nightmare unless you are "lucky" like Aribeth there is no path for a paladin to fall. You will not find a single module on the vault or a PW online to do so and sorry to say you cannot play Blackguard I with a paladin. So I would like to thank Kelly Johns again for giving us a chance to try that path (altough you need a lvl 10 character) and also for doing a simple think like including ways to switch alignment via roleplay in the mod. Please don't point me to some alignment shift mod or PW like someone did. Choosing an alignment as part of a dialogue option is not roleplay! And even choosing some "evil" answer in a dialogue when you are LG is not good roleplay either because your character would have no reason to do so. Again my character started as a paladin and had no problem growing as such. He became neutral by accident after opening some graves to hunt down vampires. After that I found no roleplay opportunites to make the character evolve to the dark side. I simply decided that he must have died in battle and was taken/revived by some Evil power. I started the mod as a back-from-the-dead Paladin lvl 7 LN but it only took a couple of actions to turn evil and level up as Blackguard. At last. Perhaps a note/question to Bioware would be to ask why create prestige class if we cannot roleplay them? Now back to this mod (at last). I really like the mod so far but I don't think respawning monsters is such a good idea. It already takes my paladin/blackguard forever to defeat some of these so if you respawn them how can we ever complete the mod? Being kind of stuck where mszar (post below) is.

Oh this look like a tailor made mod for my Death Knight. To lead the minions of the Abyss in a future war... that's the ultimate goal. My character is level 31 but hey I don't mind going back to level 15 or so. Besides, I want to drop my Shadow Dancer levels. Looking forward to play this serie.
