Description
As a relatively inexperienced adventurer, it comes as a bit of a shock that Calum has sent for you specifically. You cannot resist the call of this old friend, however... he saved your life many years ago, when you were hardly an adolescent. But he has become a Harper now, and seeks your help. Will you join him as a Harper, given the chance? What path will you follow?
Er...the other downloads work fine, but this one doesn't. it pops up as a file rather than a mod, and I cant use it! any tips?

I just started this mod today...and it looks like a fun adventure. *SPOILERS* The Indestructible Dragon, is it really indestructible or just with a hell of a lot of HP? Anyway my wizard killed him, well the Black Blade of Disaster killed him with one hit. Woot!

Consider my white flag raised, if that is the goal of this module. I can't take struggles for survival, and that's what this module amounts to. An otherwise well written story is ruined (like so many others) by one overpowered encounter after another. The need to protect a henchman makes it worse. The last straw for me was trying to take the henchman through the crypt. Two bodaks in every encounter group and the groups continually respawn. There's one Belt of Guiding Light available from the merchants, but who wears it? She dies, the game ends. I die, the game ends. The game ends, the fun dies. And the game ends a lot. I was willing to overlook annoyances like encounters that are -supposed- to be fled from and the free availability of treasures like Horrid Wilting scrolls, +5 weapons, and Rings of Power at such low levels. But the combo of a henchman that -must- be kept alive and creatures that can kill instantly took things one step too far. So I now have to abandon a series that looked very promising. Which is a pity.

This is a really good mod - but the next two are better! _________________________ If the human brain was so simple we could understand it, we'd be so simple we couldn't

still can't figure out why respawning monsters are such a terrible thing. best i can think of is that maybe they'r worse if you play really ,really slowly to give time for lots of respawning. i saw only 4 or 5 respawn-mobs the entire mod, but i move pretty fast through the mod.

Very very good module. Some great battle here!!! The only complain that i got is the respawning monster. Beside of that, its amazing.

A really good series that was fun to play as well. I really liked the storyline and the cool new toys to play with.

A late vote to a Hall of Fame series. A fine begining to working with the Harpers. My Elven Neutral Good Druid (gotta be Haper material - no?) was fairly challenged by the level of combat through out the mod; and having a mindful eye on my prisoner made it even more so. I have often recommended people play the Bioware PC keeping Sharwyn alive as a goal - and here I was rewarded with nearly that very challenge. This mod is labled Hack and Slash heavy and in all fairness that is an accurate statement. A few more options to pacify wild animals & spiders (like the white stag quest) or mislead (like the Iron Throne thugs) would have been appreciated. Some bonus experience for using your head or tactics. My only regret is that I fixed the link pin but never completed the quest. There didnt seem to be an option to return unless it was meant as a diversion to "weigh you down". In all a very well done adventure and well worth the time playing.

Good Grief! I just realized both of my previous posts are in the wrong place! I'm guessing you can disregard my first post all together... Yikes. Moderators, please feel free to delete all three of these! sorry *turns bright-red and slowly slinks away...*
