At least! lol...some people like combat and I like to experiment with different styles of modules.

Now this one is at least interesting without repetitive combat.

Posted by thegeorge at 2009-10-10 23:33:31
Thanks. I don't recall there being a certain order...

Outstanding story-driven module, with excellent use of custom content and scripting. Intelligent use of conversations and books to move things along and make the player think hard about what is actually going on. Thanks very much for continuing to update this over the years.

Incidentally, about the Ringmaster (as posted below), he didn't appear at first in front of the tents, I had to go talk to the other NPCs in the area first.

Good creepy adventure -- downloading the sequel now.

Posted by thegeorge at 2009-07-04 19:48:42
Thank you! (There's something like 18 different endings...)

Brilliant - scared my socks off! (especially the first two chapters...)
Some of the fights were a tiny bit hard for my lvl-10 monk.
The music was great and you've done wonders with the toolset. The only real reason it loses marks is the ending (too quick), though the only reason I won't elaborate is because I'm off to download the sequel this second! So, all may be amended.

Yep, that's why you're stuck. There's still no reason why it wouldn't work for you though. I could try to work out some debug commands for you if you like.

Posted by Elmorwen at 2009-02-10 20:59:19
Nope. I've never seen the ringmaster.

Posted by thegeorge at 2009-02-09 22:31:17
Ummm, I'm sure it'll work for you - it works for everyone else.

*spoiler*
Does the Ringmaster appear when you approach either tent? He should, and then ask for a ticket.

Posted by Elmorwen at 2009-02-09 12:01:13
Seems I accidentally put some NWN2 stuff in there. The nosferatu works now, but the ticket still doesn't do anything. I'm quite stuck unless I cheat.

Posted by thegeorge at 2009-02-08 22:33:44
Should be fine Vista-wise (that's what I have). It's hard to say why things don't trigger for one player and do for another - is there anything in your override folder?

Posted by Elmorwen at 2009-02-08 17:48:02
I think I'm having problems with this mod, bug-wise. I couldn't get the Nosferatu thing to trigger no matter what I did, and the circus ticket I got off my corpse didn't open any doors. I've had trouble with NWN1 in the past because of Vista... could that be the case? Or is it something more fixable?

Top Notch Spooky jaunt through the mind of a madman... And its only the begining!

I love the fact that its got more than one ending and outcome for quests based on alignment.

Great job and I'm not one for the SP mods. But his one, I played start to finish and that alone is worth a 10.

This was sure an amazing and spooky module. While the puzzles and traps were easy to figure out to bypass/complete it was nonetheless fun.

Vinchenzo made a post here.
Plz check out my entries. I'm currently making a few simple modules, designing 3 special characters, and hope to someday be good this stuff.

This is Vinchenzo, finishing his post with the following advice:
Don't use Latin improperly (Lupis means grey, Rufus is red, Canid is dog, so on.) Furries annoy me with their improper usage of such. And I'm a furry!!! Ugh...
Don't vote for Beta things unless told they are finished, unless posted specifically by the author.
Don't abuse the vote and post function, don't vote for your own/friends stuff just to get a high vote. Don't flame vote either just to be an ass.
There is a voting system for how the points are used, even I forget, but we should follow it (and tattoo it to our forehead, lol)

The graphics (new tiles, creatures, etc.) and atmosphere were the strongest part of this module, and were really superlative. I did enjoy the module, but found I had to resort to the walk-through in order to to get out of Chapter 2, as it wasn't clear to me at first that the greek fire was intended for the gate (barn) rather than the locked house (zombie Jacob).

Overall, it was an engaging play, and I actually appreciated the shorter length, as I don't have as much time these days as I used to.

I've just finished it and I had a great time playing. The creepy atmosphere is amazing. Now I'm gonna check the rest of endings. Very good work.

I can imagine! I don't have NWN2 (I don't think my computer meets the specs), but good luck anyway.

Posted by thegeorge at 2008-07-03 23:52:26
Why thank you then! Lately I've been trying to convert this one for NWN2. It's been rough going so far.

Posted by Also Copy at 2008-07-03 17:17:34    Voted 9.25 on 07/03/08
I played this a fairly long time ago and enjoyed it quite a bit.

It's been awhile, so I can't be too helpful with my comments, but I figured I should vote since I've registered.

Posted by thegeorge at 2008-04-12 23:34:56
*spoiler*

Ah yes, you got it right (and the walkthrough agrees). If you're using the wrong targeting cursor or not clicking on the barn door then the module tells you not to waste it.

Posted by niftthelean at 2008-04-12 19:57:26
SPOILER -----
Really enjoying the module so far, but stuck after defeating the scarecrow and trying to use Greekfire on the barn door. I assume its the barn since its the only locked building. A message pops up saying that I shouldn't waste it. Any pointers would be appreciated.
Thanks

Remembering Sanitarium ((which I'm going to play again now))and looking at the screenshots I think I missed some scenes ((e.g. the chessgame)). Anyway a very good mod, which I enjoyed playing, thanks for the work.
