An Epic level solo module. You are approached by a woman whose husband died at sea months ago. She asks you to confront Death himself to return her beloved back to her.
A good Epic tale seasoned well with rich descriptive writing. I actually enjoyed the slower pace of the gained XP; only gaining a single lvl within the mod; went from 20th to 21st. But this mod was well designed for making this jump from past adventures of growth into future Epic play with my chosen character. Far too linear for me to gain top marks, especially at the start. Some areas seemed needless, as almost nothing was seen, said, or done to merit exploration. But a strong second half and conclusion make it memorable.

This is an interesting module that meets a high standard of editing. I encountered no bugs and did not notice any grammar or spelling errors - a true rarity. The module is a little short - I gained a single level and seems to lack side quests. Overall, I would definitely recommend this one.

An excellent short module. Atmospheric, with well-written dialogs and an immersing story. My char was a level 22 fighter. Combats were easy but it didn't bother me, somehow it just made sense, being a renowned hero and all. The ending was superb, I reloaded to experience both options. The one where I chose to live is my favorite. The conversation between Death and the widow really moved me. My complain, side quests seemed a little repetitive and the reaction of some npcs felt a little excessive. Other than that I can't think of anything that bothered me. Well done!

Congratulations on creating the most literate, well-written mod I have ever encountered. My only complaint is that it's too short.

Great short mod, Played it in a day. Very fun very good. I played as a lvl 17/5 Ranger/Harper finished up as 18/5 great fun.

Good story to spend a few hours with your epic PC, although I found the design a bit repetitive (3 missions, 3 bodyparts, 3 foes, etc). Alas, the reference to Greek mythology had raised my expectations for Hercules' type of adventures... Although I haven't play the prior HoF modules from this author, I also noticed many item descriptions which likely referred to the world developed in those mods (as confirmed in the readme file). I'll give them a try in the future.

Reading the walkthrough, I found what a message about some rocks not being there before meant... but the related event never happened. I wonder if the corresponding script/trigger might have been broken with recent NWN patches? Nothing major enough to stop playing the mod, but wondered if anyone had this problem as well, or if my PC only lack proper skills/spells/equipment.

I'm really tempted to vote 0 for this module because of the dialogue bugs (I vote 1.0 for anything that sufficiently breaks the game for me), but instead I just won't bother voting at all this time, since hopefully the bugs will be ironed out at some time and I can try this module again as it seems intriguing. I finally clued in with the dialogue bugs when I explored the Evana Daler conversation. It starts with 2 options for the PC to speak, and they are both innocent sounding enough to move things along, except the second option terminates dialogue. So I reload and try the first. Next set of options: I choose "uh huh", and again dialogue aborts with no feedback from Daler. I got tired of reloading, so I quit. _________________________ PC Game Reviews, Hints, and Walkthroughs -- The Fantasy Art of Computer Games
