Description
While travelling through an unfamiliar land, on your way from one campaign to the next, you come across a dying, mutilated innocent. There is obviously turmoil in this land. A hero may come to its aid, while others may find opportunity to gain wealth and power from its inhabitants that are at once strange, malicious, and desperate.
My character was a lvl 13 wizard. I liked the low hack & slash and how quests could be solved without bloodshed. Too many modules seem to cater to dev crit fighters and little else. The demon I managed to beat on the 3rd try and Tymora was smiling on me at the time. Finger of Death, one shot, one kill. Definately worth the download.

Played through this with a lev 13 sorcerer. The story was well done and I appreciated that many quests could be solved without violence if the player was inclined to do so. I fought the demon and found the difficulty level to be about right. Even with greater spell penetration he resisted most of my spells but I took him down in the end. My vote: 9.00. Worth the download.

Very enjoyable mod, great roleplay choices and excellent use of custom content. Fantastic attention to detail, however the end could use a little more work.

That was a neat little module. Great for those who like nonlinear adventures.

Decided I had to start posting ratings and comments since I had been downloading modules from the vault for over a year now but never wrote anything. This was fun to play in an evening. I played with my 12th (monk10/shadowdancer2) character that I had finished the Shadowlords and Dreamcatcher series with and it seemed to be fairly even....died 4 times but never rested, so pretty even. The minor critisms I have are the slightly open ended finish and the dialogue that is repeated with some NPCs. As a final note, it was nice to have a short module for a higher level character.

SORRY for the identical posts! I wrote another comment about the good alignment choices and my level 12 character beeing a bit too high for the module, but the browser re-posted my previous comment!! And the second re-post happenened because I hit the "back" button and said "yes" to the question if post-data is to be re-sent. :(

One of the best modules I played since NWN came out. Especially the somewhat new plot for the background behind an "evil cult" and the freedom of choice how to deal with the various protagonists! The CEP content is well fit and seems NOT to be used "just because it's there". This was my first CEP module and I hope other autors will do it accordingly well. *** SPOILERS *** The idea to infiltrate the cult in their robes was wonderful! It reminded me of my all-time-favorite game Thief, where you do the same at the Hammerite temple. BUT I found it a pity that you can't masquerade yourself a this cultist you kill early in the module and go to the secret meeting as himself. I tried it before I knew something like that would be possible later. It would've been nice if this were possible at this meeting. Hm... or was it and I just couldn't do it because my monk/sorc/dragon couldn't wear the cultist's armor-robe? Don't remember clearly by now... ;) Anyway, I am looking forward to any more modules from you! Great work!!
