Two days have passed since you left the burnt carcasses of the slaughter of Mornbryn's Shield. Along with Fargrak and at the head of the Fury of the Evermoors, you marched down toward the Underdark. With each step getting you farther from Yartar, you still feel that you are getting closer and closer to your revenge. For two days, you led your army down the long and dark tunnel preoccupied by many unanswered questions.. What is this Chanting Chain? Who really is this Tothur? What about This Storm Prophet predicted to walk this land again? Why does he show up in your dreams? The tunnel ended in a large cave. 'We camp here tonight!' you command the orcs. Then you lied down on your bed roll, closed your eyes, wondering how will they all die tonight...'O Talos, guide me...' (*** READ THE README FILE BEFORE PLAYING ***)
Had lots of fun playing this series...until the final battle for the destruction of Yartar. ** SOME SPOILERS ** The Storm Armour, which is very much an important part of the PC's equipment for the battle, is rather useless to a monk character...my AC and attacks dropped significantly because of this armour. I'll just start again with a more traditional character... _________________________ All I ask is a chance to PROVE money can't make me happy. Spoiler for my previous post: DebugMode 1 (and then hit enter then type) dm_spawnitem deathkey This will spawn a Death Key wherever your pointer is sitting when you hit enter. That will get you into the Master's room if you got bugged and didn't get the key earlier.

SPOILER (sort of...) Looking through the pages and pages of comments there seem to be a lot of people not getting that 4th key from the spirit lich when killed. Why hasn't that been patched? The game is not able to be finished otherwise. I was firmly believing that part 3 was much better than part 2 up until this game stopping bug. dm_spawnitem bg3_deathkey does NOT work by the way. Maybe it's a different name, but if nobody is going to patch the bugt it should at least be included in the enclosed txt file so people can actually FINISH the module...

First off, I did like this mod for what it was and playing as an evil character for the first time it was nice to see a genuine attempt at a portrayal of that. I won't go into what I liked about it, because I wouldn't want to take away from other's enjoyment of it. I will note briefly what I had issue with. My main problem was that I never really got the sense that I was an evil overlord in the making. Despite any malicious deeds I carried out with glee or murders I justified with a shrug and a chuckle, I never felt like anything more than a sadistic and unscrupulous fellow with a chip on his shoulder and an emo haircut. Moreso, I felt like I was a puppet the whole time and though I can sense a sort of Palpatine/Vader-like relationship with the mentor character, It felt to me more like Pinnochio/Gippetto gone bad. There simply weren't enough evil options for me and I was always concerned that at one point, one of the several NPC's I routinely kowtowed to like a gormless berk would send me on a literal 'bootlicking quest', which I would have to undertake to push the story onward. The NPC's I worked for didn't even have the decency to look the part and it came off feeling more like the whole supporting cast of villain conspirators had just gotten off of work at their day jobs. Even upon fulfilling the final destiny of the main character, It felt the same way and that makes no sense considering what that turns out to be. Overall, good mod and fun to play. Many things were done well and I was pleased with the result. It was just not ambitiously evil enough for me. Best suited for an evil barbarian character content with repeatedly asking anyone with a coin and a wicked gleam in their eye what they would like him to swing his sword arm at today.

Hi everyone!!! It's been a while! Thank you guys for your comments! I can see that even though nwn2 is out with a poor expansion pack (well, that's what people say anyway), they're still people playing nwn1 and I'm glad to see that there's a patch (1.69) ongoing. I have the feeling that they'll stop working on nwn1 the day it's released, so as long as they have a beta one, I think nwn1 is not dead. Orpheus, yep..you are sooo right. Nwn2 toolset is simply not made for people who work and design modules during the night. I tried to migrate my ongoing necromancer mod to nwn2..It took me a whole week to do what I could in an afternoon with nwn1 even with those *supposed* enhancement. You have to be a whole team at least to make a decent mod, or have no life. So now, I forget nwn2 toolset and stick with the one I know. I also appreciate your comment about my improvement from part 1..to the last. Of course, some things I had to learn on the field. LichKing - Be my guess...But, in my opinion, it's impossible. Half of the content you'd need is not there and even the blackguard class has changed enough to change the storyline. I think you should design a whole new thing in nwn2. That begin said. I installed MotB and starting it tonight...I really need to see if people were right about it being a poor mod. After that, I really plan to finish my necromancer mod...It's been too long and I hate to leave something half finished especially when it's so fun making mods. Steve...back on the nwn track! Even though nwn2 expansion pack is out..(with bad comments..oups), I can see that they're still people playing nwn1. I've been focusing on my work for some time, played few old games from time to time. I've got some free time coming up

Spoiler I got to the Water Baroness and found that the statues did not break as the Celestials were killed. On my fourth go at it, I decided to cheat and use god mode so I could keep killing celestials, but no number of them slain equaled a destroyed statue. _________________________ "You're a dreamer, a schemer, a schemer who's schemes don't work.
