It had started simple enough. Seek the leaders of the Giant alliance that was raiding mankinds lands and destroy them. Well, the Giant alliance is no more but you are no nearer to finding the true leader behind their actions. True you now know the Drow were behind it but who is the true leader? Your quest has seen you pass deep into the Underdark and through the ancient Shrine of the Kuo Toa. Now having at last escaped the Shrine the quest continues....the Vault of the Drow beckons.
The 7th and final mod of the series "Queen of the Demonweb Pits" can be found here: http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Modules.Detail&id=4195
Looking forward now to next week and the Queen of the Demonweb Pits. Thanks and cheers.

We just finished this as a group, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The plot moves along, lots of fun action and interesting environments. Great job! The only criticism is that dying and going to the Fugue plane pretty much stops you cold, and you need a DM to get you out, whereas we had no chance to use resurrection or the like to bring back our comrades. Other than that, very enjoyable.

Thanks for the positive feedback Twar_Blackshire, I really appreciate your comments (and vote). My spelling seems to suffer at times when I type and I tend to forget that I have a mod spell checker somewhere on my PC! Thanks again. Thankyou Bagga7 for playing and voting on he mod. Feedback and votes are very much appreciated not just by me but by all builders. :) _________________________ Trev

Nice work on this conversion Trev! This was probably my favorite one that you've done in this series. No bugs. Good maps. Better use of placeables than in previous mods. Main complaint- Spelling and grammar are VERY noticably wrong in places. Things like spelling a word that should end in 'ing' but simply forgetting to put that in. It just comes across as though you never gave it a proper edit. That takes away a bit of the whole experience in my book. Otherwise, I really enjoyed it. Thanks Trev for putting so much into the Vault!!

My favourite of the series so far!

Its hard reaching a balance when fighting a God. I have had some feedback saying she was far too easy to defeat! Remember also the mods were designed for multi-player so the levels are hard to gauge for single player. D3 was technically the hardest mod to convert and I HAD to make changes. In the PnP version, much was left to the DM to 'fill in' the details. The vault itself had numerous estates and vast areas to explore so it seemed to make sense to only keep the parts relevant to the main storyline. Certain parts were added to maintain the dangerous nature of the lands without subtracting from the main story. The bugs you mentioned have not been reported by anyone else nor did my party encounter any so they may have been 1 offs - glitches if you like. Anyone else crash at these points? _________________________ Trev

I've played the series from G1 and sadly this is the weakest one. I'm soloing it with a Monk who is now level 17, and the variability of the encounters is one of the problems. I can annihilate huge hordes of Drow with barely a scratch, getting little or no reward, but have no hope against Lolth herself. In one attempt against her I got through 38 Heal potions, 10 speed potions, plus countless bless, strength, dexterity potions, every time I reduced her to a wounded state she just healed herself - I had no means of finishing her off, as being a Monk all my skills were in fist fighting. 3 crash bugs when: - asking to trade when I met the 2nd trader - searching a hole in one of the tunnels - opening a chest in the Male fighters guild Plus, as people have said before, there was nothing of the Royal Houses from the original. Also many of the encounters have been changed. G1-G3 were wonderfully authentic, why take such liberties with D3?

ericdoman if you're finding it ok up to now (difficulty wise) then stay with same character though there are some hard fights ahead in certain places ;) Its a hard call as players approach mods in different ways! _________________________ Trev

Have gone through all previous mods with same character (started as 12th lvl combo, 6/1/5 ftr/rg/wmstr) am now 8/3/7 as I had palyed predominantly solo. However game suggests that you should start max lvl of 16? Do I use a different character or continue with the same one?

I found some minor bugs (not hostile drows in the lesser temple, for example), beside that, this mod rocks
