This is part one in a Greyhawk Campaign of three linked modules. The first module deals with your group of adventurers seeking out the fabled 'Caverns of Tsojcanth'and the legendary artifact 'Daoud's Wondrous Lanthorn', but along the way, a dark mystery begins to reveal itself. The adventure takes place in and near the Abbor-Alz mountains, far to the south and east of Greyhawk City. This has mountain adventure, crypt, cavern, and village settings. It is very loosely based on the original module by TSR (I emphasize loosely) and places your characters in NEW and ORIGINAL settings altogether. *This mod uses the 'Rives(TC-1)' Hak file.* (Campaign Map included in .zip file) NOTE: The hak file required to play the mod includes anatomically correct females, so those offended by female nudity should not download.

Some incomplete or outdated scripting, but nothing a console jump can't handle. _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them.
Let me add that my curiosity got the best of me and I played some additional areas after opening the toolset and gettting the appropriate keys. The story is good and feels rather epic. There are several henchman available over the entire story. The fights were good and tough with a Wiz/thief 11/3. The respawnings weren't nearly as bad in some areas as in others and rest was possible.
Overall the mod was playable and enjoyable if you can get past several of the big issues menioned below including the stripper, corpse issue and the need for all those keys.
Having loved S4 yet having read all the comments, I went into this mod with an open mind. However after 4 + hours I can not continue. The combination of the following issues made it unplayable for me: 1) the very strange corpse/treasure recovery issue; 2)the extremely frequent respawning 3)limited resting areas and no way to raise dead on the henchman; 4)the mod maker's need to put plot items behind locked doors which require a key; 5)the destructible treasure and keys(?) and 6)the supposed difficulty in finding secret doors.
The combination of these things made it impossible for me, playing solo, to move the plot forward. I could never rest because of all the nearly instaneous respawnings (can't rest when enemies are nearby). Cound not move plot forward because I could not access certain areas due to unlockable doors that required keys that I could not find, or destroyed in combat. Were there secret doors I could not locate. Who knows? I played the same enounters over and over again to make sure I found all the "invisible" corpses and that I did not destroy an unknown key -- but to no avail.
Based on prior comments and what I saw, it's very evident the author put a lot of time effort into this mod. But I am sorry to say that I was not able to continue.
A ray of hope for people that do not like the item stripper. With no knowledge of the toolset or instructions I was able to delete the lines of code that control it within an hour and I am no tech person. Hope these comments help future players to decide on whether to play or not.

I love this mod ! The stuff is wonderful, the work is fabulous, the scripts are just perfect for the use.
My Rogue/ShadowDancer and his friend Dwarf Defender managed to take back the cure for Lord Genther. It was hard and long but they are proud.

I just can't give a '10' because of the too frequent respawns. But I love this mod ! The scripts are genious and perfect for each use.

It was challenging with three players, but it was a fantastic time. There was one door we couldn't find a way through and I'm not sure if we ever figured out what the levers did in the sinkhole...or how to get across the stream in the sinkhole.

Excellent mod so far. Not sure if anyone is still reading/posting, but I would be extremely grateful for info on how to return to Millstead once you get the antidote from the Scarlet Shadows; I seem to be stuck in their lair without a way back. My thanks if someone can help.

Not sure if anybody is still viewing feedback on this. Brought antidote back. Tried to sell my treasures to the priest and in midsale he attacked me spontaneously, as did half the town, including animals. Not sure if it is a bug or what. Just curious if anybody else had the same problem. _________________________ "In life, one and one don't make two. One and one make one."

I'm in the converted caverns and I've found the area where the secret door should be, but I can't get it to appear. Any help? Thanks. _________________________ "In life, one and one don't make two. One and one make one."

We found this mod to be Excellent.
If u enjoy the pen and paper game, this mod is a must.
It recreates much of the feel of the original game.
1. It balances your party at beginning. U need a team , to win. U need teamwork to win the encounters.
2. There are enough lore checks, search, spot checks that
create much of the atmosphere that allows u imagine more than what u see on the screen.
3. Nothing is laid out for u to do. It is as non linear as i can imagine a module to be. You actually gotta work on figuring out what is going on and then u encounter surprises along the way.
For whoever is stuck in the converted caverns , there is a secret door in the south east corner. Anyway i think a job very well done, this mod is up there with DreamCatcher, Ancient Heart. Meaning , its better than the official campaign.
