Orcs and goblins have been attacking a few of its towns and cities. Its ruler, King Azoun IV recently perished, and the heir to the throne is the infant King Azoun V. In his stead, Princess Alusair Obarskyr rules Cormyr as regent. It is in this kingdom where your adventure begins. You have received a letter from your mentor, Sir Breven Strongblade, a Purple Dragon Knight, to travel to Cormyr, more specifically to its capital, the City of Suzail. He mentions that it is of great importance to you and the kingdom. So with a few supplies, and Sir Breven's letter in hand, you head for Suzail, unaware that your own epic story is about to unfold.
