CEP 1.51 stores and PvP battlefields is just what the name implies....a series of stores where you can expect to purchase nigh anything from the toolset as well as thousands of original items collected from the vault and other modules, as well as 2 large battlegrounds for PvP contests, one of which includes a cat and mouse game and custom random encounters. A Wemic allows for instant experience points, a healer is available, but gold must be earned in the cat and mouse arena (hehe). Feel free to add, change, update etc, please send ANY questions/ideas/advice/bugs, thanx for downloading, enjoy ;o)

I appreciate your comments, Frankie, honestly, and will keep it in mind when I do another udate sometime this summer. Thanks, and keep playing...

Mall theme, yeah, fair enough. You might want to make the outside entrance a bit glitzier. And maybe some red arrows pointing the way.
I still think the custom items should be separated from the standard ones. And any idea why some of them attacked me?

Hi Frankie, and thanks for your comments. I wanted to make this store different than others...and, in case you didnt notice, it's set up like a mall, with different kinds of stores, all neatly sorted...heck, there's even a seperate store for blades, for blunts, for ammo, etc etc, the list goes on. Have a look around and you will see this module is much more than just a shopping mall, indeed! In the cat and mouse arena, for example, you can test out your new gear and see the action of other (NPC) adventurers againts random monsters..hoho..it's a laugh, really. Anyway, hope you try it again, you may see there is a system, honestly, I needed different areas to decrease the lag of too many stores in one area. Enjoy :o)
Gonzo G.
You have a decent list of stuff. A few things I didn't like though:
1: The initial spawn point should be inside the main building. Starting in the Adventure Gear replica makes your mod feel much more ripped-off than it should.
2: Borrow the script from Halls of Advanced Training so the standard items and custom items are two separate stores, rather than a thousand things all mashed together.
3: Upon entering the building, the oxen and several shopkeepers went hostile. I accidentally killed one before using dm_setfactiondefender to fix things. Same thing happened downstairs. What's up with that? Perhaps they are in the same faction as the furniture? (I bashed the logs outside)
4: Is it supposed to be tedious and difficult to find some of the shopkeepers? If so, you did a decent job of it.

Hey Schrednoek,
Is the underground cave going to expand?
Also, will Shimballa the dryad have a role in the game besides just saying hello? _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them.

Many of my characters wouldn't be caught dead shopping anywhere else since they stumbled upon this mod. Not only useful, but highly enjoyable.

Hi Steve, thanks a lot for this information, it seems to be the same as the last one you sent me! I will have to delve into the forums to see what this means, because 1) I don't know, and 2) I have never encountered it before ... Anyway, I will keep you posted, when I learn something new :o)

"Hi Xiphias, and thanks for posting!
First of all, this is not a pure "shopper" module, it includes much more than that, for instance the PvP and Monster arena's, where you have a chance to use your newly bought equipment, and, when you run out of precious gold, you can even earn some bucks and experience! No, ok, there are no quests, there is no real storyline as such, but go ahead and try it, you may find it's a lot of fun
Next, this Hakpack by Rosietreats is purely delicious eye-candy, as it allows for some really gorgeous outfits, and ON-SCREEN backpacks and cloaks! I like adventuring well-equipped AND in style, so I put in loads of ways to make your character look really nice into this module, and this fits right up that street. While in this module, you will be able to fully enjoy the Hackpak, and when you take your character into another module without this hackpack, it will make absolutely NO difference. Like with other items that you cannot use from other modules, the scrollpack and backpack will not be usable. But they don't cost you any cash, so, who cares?
Anyway, I appreciate your question, and I hope this has slightly raised your interest...go ahead, have a look for yourself, it's all functioning properly. Have fun!

Thanks for that, Rosietreats, I feel very honored! The cat and mouse arena is doable singleplayer, it's a laugh-and-a-half, I've also tested it MP, but it gets confusing with too many people in there. Its fine if you party up and stick close together, but for multi-party I reccomend Arena 2.
Your hakpack is brilliant, I reccomend it to everyone I know and meet, they are all very impressed as well. Looking forward to your next update :o)

Thanks for that,mRtRoLLy, and yes, I suppose there are a few NPC's in the merchant's hall, as well as placables, that is most likely causing the lag...I will reduce these for the next update, next week.
I really appreciate you posting, and will do my best to continue on this module :o)

Adventure mods r fun. I was making one on fighting the forces of hell and u would run into all sorts of bosses! I gave up though. Did I mention theres alot of lag!? You should lessen npcs or something.

Hi mRtRoLLy, and thanks for posting...could you send me like an email or something so we could converse this subject? As you read, we are trying to include an alignment changer into my module, anything you could tell me to help will be worth mentioning you in the module credits :o)

1. Music: I will have to take another look into the module more specifically then, I only saw the intro and extro movies up to now.
2. Druegar dwarves: sure, I can add in some of these in update 24.
3. Quest idea: I really like this idea, just not sure I understand quite all of it...please send me an email with some more details, or try to rephrase some of that, if you can, and I will do my utmost to implement it...I am capable of setting up some minor quests, if this is requested :o)
Thanks a bunch! Gonzo 'S'

I just did the cave at the east of the weed field. We could also make this into an adventure module as well. The theme would be "A bazaar where all sorts of merchants bring their stuff... however, there lurks a cave where NO merchant dares find treasure to sell because they value their lives over the danger that lurks there. There is rumor that the treasure in those caves is more valuable that the top of the line merchants"
And the players would be rewarded with the treasure if they complete the cave adventure. :)
To go that route though... you should make the treasures on the 2nd cave level even more powerful than before... the Diablo campaign items are still more powerful, making it not a real motivator to do the cave adventure."
Also, if you have Drow Elves, could you please throw in some Duergar Dwarves as well? I think it's cool when they team up together. ;)
Yes, if we turn this into an adventure as well, this will gain more attention. _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them.

Well, to be honest with you, I haven't finished the module yet so haven't heard the ending music. I'm playing it right now.
Have you listened to all the music files in mp3 format?

OK, I went ahead and had a listen, I take it you mean the music from the ending? That's sorta spacey, yeah, but I'm thinking of some "Area" music, for the shopping areas...sorta like the ever-repeating elevator music but a little more entertaining...
