Cania, the Eighth Level of Hell, was once your domain. By his truename, you forced Mephistopheles, Lord of the Eighth, to serve you. Through him, you commanded an army ravaging Faern. But the jealous gods schemed against you. Mystra and Eilistraee took the knowledge of truenames from you and released Mephistopheles from his bindings. Mephistopheles rallied an army and plunged Cania into civil war. Rivals seized the opportunity to take up arms against Mephistopheles, which blunted the attack upon you. But months have passed and Mephistopheles has the upper hand. His army besieges your castle. This sequel to The Gods Themselves requires: 1.65 + SoU + HotU
Nicely done, a fitting end.. or one of the possible endings, if u decided to get your vengence, but compared to TGT (10.00) I'm much more impressed with how everything fits so well and mde perfect sense, so ths is getting a 9.50.

I just finished playing both The Gods Themselves and War for Cania and I had the best time doing it! This is the first module(s) I've managed to play from start to finish without getting bored, and it was tons of fun for my sorcerer/red dragon disciple. Great story, good roleplaying fighting, the puzzles weren't bad either, this is high quality work and I have to give you props on it! This is truly a worthy sequel to the evil end of HOTU, Bioware would be proud! Well done, and I look forward toward trying your other modules!

I guess I'll be different, I liked this more then the previous mod. The authors storytelling is improving in this chapter. I'm interested as to where this is going. Looking forward to chapter 3.

Just played this and it was quite fun. A bit short but I'd rather have a high quality short mod than a low quality long mod. I successfully escaped from Cania though looking at the walkthrough it seems there were multiple paths/endings to choose from. In the previous mod I beat the avatar of Elistraee (took forever, since our ACs were so good we could only hit each other on crits). Since it asked in the setup about this I was hoping to find some acknowledgement of my victory in the sequel. Maybe if I had chosen the Countess path instead this would have come into play? Anyway, the story was good, the combat was balanced for my bard/blackguard, it was great fun.

Nice. This module is definately the most fun that I've played, even when including consideration for the professional modules like HOTU or POTSC. It's all about the storyline and the character personalities. And about the comments that this mod isn't as good as the prequel. I suppose the quality is a little lower but the campaign lasts a lot longer which made it more fun for me. And about the enemies being too easy. I don't really care about balanced combat anymore, combat isn't very stimulating aside from boss battles anyway. I just want a fun story line to play through with good characters. Conversations and character personalities in the mod are very important. I've "wasted" a lot of points on bluff, intimidate, pursuade and taunt, so that I can influence the conversations however I want, and took a human character so I'd have enough points. Personally, I used a custom level 40 character with super buffed items that I played this with. I made the character with Zorcos Keep custom items, before I found out about this mod, solely because I wanted a cool character. He's not created for powergaming. Along with useful stuff he also has a bunch of basically worthless enchantments on his items and excess scrolls etc. that I'll probobly never use in NWN but I probobly would if the character was in a real world. I also don't just equip whatever is the best item, like full plate because that would be... hard to run around in(where's the "rolling my eyes" icon?), or helmets because the helmets all look retarded on anything but heavy armor. Now that I'm done rambling, I'm looking forward to a sequel if you finish one. And I'm also going to check out your other mods.
