Arcanium v4.4 Arcanium is a land of high adventure. It is an epic module with many lands to explore and numerous quests to complete. Start with a low level party/character and work your way through crypts, labyrinths, strange forests, evil sects, sunken cities and much more! Module preferably run as persistent but can be played as singelplayer as well. Have fun.
The zip file now have three modules; Arcanium v2.3 is the old NWN 1.29 Arcanium v2.6 is a SOU 1.32 and uses Tim.hak Arcanium HOTUSOU v4.1 is a SOU+HOTU module v1.62.
It could be something in the 1.66 patch or CEP that is doing something. I will take a look. Tim

What polymorphing is that? The one in the labyrinth is from strange magic, as the elven quester tells you. It only happens in this one place. It affects anyone who enters and is one of six different effects that make the passage a more "troublesome" experience. I hope you keep on adventuring in spite of these polymorphing traps. The are as I said, quite rare.

Ok, the module is good so far, but what is with the polymorphing? It's ridiculous.

Ok, you have CEP. That could be the problem. I will look into it. Thank you for your extensive feedback.

I thinkI have narrowed it down to Port Sol City itself. When ever I try to open the Cith of Port sol in toolset I get the same error.

I ran antivirus, no virus. I checked the hard drive for errors, no errors. I defgrag and reboot and it still does the same thing.

I have 1.65.8066 English. I have the platinum version with both SoU and HoTU. I have the CEP v1.50 as well. I will try a virus scan, disc clean up and defrag as well. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for your help. Peace.

Oh, That error message is not a compilation error. It is the operating system trying to access a memory address outside the range allocated for the toolset. It happens when the software used tries to do somthing it shouldn´t. The result is that the software (NWN Toolset) crashes. I can´t really give you more information. What version of NWN do you have, what expansions and which module? Have you applied all patches? Try to check your hard drive for errors and run a defrag. Also run a virus check. Restart computer and try again. I have had problems with crashes running the game (albeit not when compiling) when having a virus. That is why I think that could be a solution. The error checking is to make sure that the swap file is ok. Unless you try to compile some old module or a new module on an old system it should work. _________________________ Intelligence - The ability to plan ahead. Wisdom - To actually do what you planned.
