You've had frequent dreams of the land of Istar. Somehow you know that there lies the answer to the one question you cannot answer: who are you? This module is the sequel to Tales of Arterra - The Lost. It is recommended that you play The Lost so you understand the story, but you are not required to import a character from it. Requires patch 1.65. Please visit here for more information.
Note: There are two zip files available for download. The 7.5 MB zip contains the module files and is required to play. The 35 MB zip contains optional music and is not required, so don't worry about it if you're on dialup.
1.02a contains a more complete walkthrough. This is also available on the website. Please email me at [email protected] if you have questions, as I am no longer supporting this module from these forums.
Excellent module with nice roleplay and few hack and slash .Each fight has a purpose.

I'm on my long overdue voting-rampage, so here's my opinion on this module, allthough probably no one cares anymore ;). This one is a very good sequel and conclusion to the first module, *SPOILER* and allthough the "You're the chosen one"-theme is really worn out, *SPOILER END* it has a good and exciting story. The npc's are as sympathetic as in the first part, allthough the ending for the evanine romance was really, ehh..., unrealistic (stupid word in conjunction with fantasy, but I don't know anything bette to describe it^^). *SPOILER* I mean, really, who is probably several hundred years (considering the nature of the pc) around and has no relationship but waits for his death to be reuninted with an angel who thinks beating up demons in the eternal struggle between the heavens and the hells that will never ever end is more important than her love for you (or other way around)? o.O *SPOILER END* So, overall, there are some minor things that lower my voting for this one compared to it's predecessor a little bit, but it's definitly worth playing it, even multiple times (maybe some day I will play this one again without forgetting that "Monty" guy at the fairyman's, I just didn't notice him there :P)

Excellent mod; yes it's linear, so what? Still an excellent story, good NPC's, only one bug found(if I talk to Celebrian in the Abyss again after already teleporting to Alyssius, she re-teleports you, and you're stuck there, so don't talk to her twice-- after you re-enter the Abyss she shouldn't be there, but she was) Romance with Evanine was nice; not easy to get, and not overdone(if I want to really get into some romance I can read a book or something) Most mods don't advance right if you choose evil, so why some people are griping about that I'm sure I don't know... I would have given a perfect 10, but there were a couple times the bad guys were so overly powerful for my character and his NPC girls even though they were buffed out as much as the game would allow, so I had to cheat about oh, 3 times, in order to level up to where the antagonists still offered a real challenge, but could possibly be defeated and move the story along. ---I will use the toolset to nerf them down a notch so I don't have to GiveXP next time I want to play. Nice work

Finished playing both and I enjoyed the game. I don't understand the "Mature" rating. It's doesn't quite make it to a PG-13 rating. As for "Romance", there wasn't much of one. The only response I got from Monty was that he tolerated my pc. I did everything I could by listening to him, showing intrest, and always agreeing with him. However, his attention was focused more on Persey and Evanine. This should not be listed under romance. I did throughly enjoy it for what it was, and I will play again. Thank you for your work, it is greatly appreciated.

passion23-- It's your video card; when NWN first came out, I had a 64mb card as well(hey it was still pretty hot stuff in 2002!) I had just about the same stats, and I had to turn down the graphics, and it would still get lag-alicious. Sounds like you're tight on cash(college student maybe..? been there!) but even a cheap 128mb card would do wonders; newegg.com my friend. Also, memory for old builds is dirt cheap; if you could get the (I assume it's DDR) memory up to 1 gig you would be pleasantly surprised. Your CPU is plenty powerful for NWN, which is very good. For my older build, I scavenge for memory and such from those who just toss their machine away for the latest thing; I even dumpster dived and got a few "upgrades" once :-) Kevin Chan-- I just started this mod, and had to comment on the Baldur's Gate music; love it! Brings back memories; I may just have to dust off my old BG discs now...

This Mod runs pretty choppy on lower end machines as Aielund was mentioned earlier in Aielund the big fights are getting choppy for me as well (Battle of Fort Highmarch, Battle of Bracksworth, Nine Layers of Hell etc.). But ToA runs as choppy inside an Inn as the mentioned battles of Aielund. I do not see the reason why and sadly cannot give this mod a try (at least not on my current machine) My Specs: AthlonXP 1.8Ghz 768Mb Ram Radeon 7xxx (64mb) WinXP SP3 Settings: 800x600 Quality:Fast Textures: 16mb (Compability Mode) No Shadows,Grass,Light,High Effects

I rather enjoyed these mods though I'd have to agree with Eva Galana that the romance was slightly lacking. _________________________ Dying's easy Living's hard "Don't fear the dark...fear what's in it." A friend of mine suggested I go back for a second round with this as it would surely change my mind. . .While trying to solve the first quest on arrival, the poisoning of the wells, the aqueducts connected to the sewer seemed a likely place to start. Cain, your little vampire sideshow mucking about down there, was positively impossible. With plus 25 to hit on my primary attack, I could not connect with anything less than a critical (roll 18) attack. Nor could any of my henchmen land a single blow, and since all of our armour classes were high thirties, he couldn't hit us either. What an amazingly stupid, boring combat encounter -but at least you are consistent, EVERY important combat encounter was boring and stupid. The dragon was much the same, the sorcerer equally lame, bah. Terribly linear, one has absolutely no choice except to serve the lawful good sect if they want to advance the primary storyline. Cult won't allow you to recruit and find their head quarters that way -or at least they wouldn't let a chaotic neutral like me. I should tack on another 1/10 rating by all rights.
