Any. Alignment has no real bearing on the story at this time.
Description
You have been hired to lead an expedition to the lost continent of Tolanus. After first establishing a stronghold in this savage land, you will begin your search for the legendary metal called blacksteel.

Oh and one more thing: If you had problem with the spiders in this part, you have to find spider scout hanging near the west stronghold entrance. Get what's on his corpse and bring to aldo then donnar. _________________________ Thanks Rolo:)

The plot is really interesting. I will comment entire series here:
- Outdated CEP makes the module unplayable(those crashes mentioned, braking glass sounds, while fighting etc.). Solution is to install cep1patch169 hak into every part. Also, I think not getting dwarf runestone by baaneral was caused by this.
- it is not clear, but you should start 10 level, otherwise you will be given XPs to reach that 10th level
- goblin's message cannot be taken(1st part), one boots(polymorphing) cannot be sold
- no bags of holding, except those few lesser ones at the beginning.
- Donnar's option "saving the piece for later" doesn't give you the large blacksteel hunk back
- only 1 arrow is made from blackesteel each time - that's a ripoff
- you can only take 2 companions, Though I like the idea of one of them(the one you didn't hire) getting killed in that vortex(1st part), I wish I could take more of them in my party. Also sometimes henchmen join me unexpectedly.
- definitely too many critters, I felt flooded. The mechanical spiders - ok, they do vary in abilities, but they all use just one shape and size. Basically all parts. Besides I think they gave me too much XPs, and I spawned even more of them in the result, though I fought only ones I needed too. The 3rd part, except the underowrld, had less critters and was better because of that I think.
- I wish I could somehow persuade the dwarven factory to join aramune - since it has the only dwarves left in the entire continent.(2nd part)
- faustina sarcophagus can be looted twice - in 2nd and 3rd part. I think the amulet from the 3rd part is unsellable though.
- wish the keagle shop would update from module to module - getting new stuff. It does not have to be arms, just the potions, spells?, ammo etc. Since he is alchemist he could use that skill to make stuff - like snow apes, monkeys and monster could drop cold stones you could use or give to keagle for him to make new arrows?.
- can't inform ferris of keagle death before talking to aldo.(3rd part)
- some boulder does not yield blacksteel, but maybe it was intentional. Also it would be better if you had to use picakaxes to get thet ore, instead of normal weapons. _________________________ Thanks Rolo:)
Looking for the Dwarven key - know where it's supposed to be, but there's a flaw in a script somewhere I think. I am unable to recover anything from any of the cragling shamans, high shaman included. Is there a way to spawn the key? I have no craglings left to kill. I've tried destroying the bodies, no luck.
Help me Obi-wan!!

How do we actually finish this module? _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them.

The merchants and lootable corpses cause the game to crash because the author needs to update to the latest version of CEP.
A goblin lobber I assume has what I need to open the gate to the south. He crashes I presume because of the inventory item CEP issue.
Areas to large to wander around and trigger the next step.
Mojo needs to update to the latest version of CEP to make this module playable again. _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them.
I am at the Crags and can't find an exit to the South to find the dwarf mines. Could use some help here.

A decent module that is confusing most of the time. Many single journal entries. Some quests don't seem to go off. _________________________ The road to Ravenloft is paved with good intentions.

Help! This is an excellent module with a creative premise and an intriguing storyline, and I cannot wait to play more of it, but I am experiencing a problem that is preventing my progress. The game seems to crash every time I try to view the inventory of the smuggler, the exotic merchant, or the only merchant at the stronghold. I have never experienced this type of error with an NWN module before and don't know what could be causing it. I have CEP 1.53 and 2 installed. My NWN is v1.68, and I have the Underdark and Underentide expansion installed. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

But the spiders,,,"Iwas not amused!"

I'd have voted higher except that it was very linear. Other than that, it's a solid module without any bugs or other stuff that might frustrate a player (my big gripe). Very nice!

My comments are for the trilogy collectively. It is difficult to write a campaign for a higher level character. By varying the style, tempo, and content of each, I believe the author has created a superior campaign. Other than a few idiosyncrasies caused by malfunctioning scripts, I can find no fault with this campaign over than a few, purely personal wishes as to content. And I suspect most of those will be addressed in Chapter 4 wherein, I assume, a new house will be established in the Baron's old homeland and perhaps even a touch of romance will be found (no romantic interest was the main personal lack I found for myself). I sincerely hope we will not have to wait much longer for it to be released.

Excellent story. No documentation. Merchant(s) may crash computer. I liked the use of voice set and the unique henchmen.

I guess I finished this one. I can't be sure because the journal is not updated at this stage.
I agree with some comments below, at least one merchant will crash my computer.
The story is very good and the henchmen really interesting.
The game might be easy early on but I don't consider it an issue as it allows me to focus on the story. Yet some fights might be tedious due to the number of critters spawning. Overall I found only one really challenging area.
Did I really finish the module? (see spolier below)
Please let me know.
* Spoilers *
1. Cleared the area near the camp
2. Found the Blacksteel Crown and Jinx
3. Destroyed Siege engines (need range weapon for the main one) and visited small cave
4. Explored the mountain and retrieved key
5. Opened the Dwarven gate and explored the small area including the sewer
6. Returned to Castle where "mechanical combat units" are spawning in courtyard and in basement of castle.
Got no new conversations from NPC and cannot find the miners.
I'm having a problem with the gam crashing when I talk to merchants. It doesn't do it everytime, but enough to be annoying. Any idea for a fix? I like what I've seen of the module so far. Would love to play it without crashing. _________________________ A good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan executed next week.

I gave up on this series as unplayable before finishing this first part. It's just too difficult and frustrating to navigate the world with the plot triggers and journal entries like they are. It's a shame, because I was intrigued by the story and the writing was respectable.
I hope it's not really a final version, because with some touch-ups, this could be a great, innovative series. Otherwise, it's just not worth the frustration of running all over creation trying to figure out what you need to do to trigger the next step in the story.

So.. there are no journal entries for the Skull King quest and it does nothing for the plot, the enemies were too underpowered for the thirteenth level character I had when I reached Shazzerath to give him worthwhile exp, and there was no valuable treasure- does that mean I wasted my time? Or is the key for this dwarven place I haven't been to yet in Shazzerath somewhere? I guess you get a 20th bard demilich, even more useful than Jax :)

HELP !! The module crahses my NWN each time I try to open merchant interface (I haven't taken a ship yet). The games freezes and then the game crashes. Did u get this kind of problem already ?
*** Spoiler ***
I got the dwarf rune. Went to the dwarven city. Started the spider fight. Went back to fortress, but the game does not send me to the next module in the series. BTW. I went and killed the Skull King. Did I miss something?
