Hythum is a world comprised of islands and small to moderate sized land masses that float in the sky with no land below. Heat grows more intense towards the relative core of Hythum and cooler as one ascends. Kingdoms, free cities, and tribes comprised of every race and alignment imaginable populate the countless islands of Hythum.
I would recommend playing the original Hythum first, and using the character from that module in Hythum II. The original Hythum can be found on NWVault. The URL is http://nwvault.ign.com/Files/modules/data/1104331367000.shtml
Gameplay Length
7-15 hours estimated.
Number Players
3-5 recommened, but solo play is possible.
Language
English
Level Range
Players should start at 9th or 10th level, which is where they would leave off after playing the original Hythum. If you havent reached that level or if you are using a new character you will be given enough experience to advance to level 9 at the begin
Hythum II opens one year after the events in the original Hythum. The War of the Great Portal is over. You have spent the past year in Port Leaton with Eyvinder the Sage, advising the young King Sean. The outward appearance of the city has largely returned to normal. Buildings have been patched, and repaired, but the people of Leaton still bear the scars of the war.
You are resting in your chambers in palace when Eyvinder calls to you from the throne room, Come quickly! I have an urgent errand for you.
Hythum II is not an epic adventure like the first Hythum but is essentially a very large dungeon crawl. I wanted to design something that would be easier for a DM to run and this module partly grew out of that desire. The module is fully scripted and does not require a DM, but my previous modules were structure in a way that made it difficult for DMs to use them easily.
Consult the readme file for changes in each release.
Hi Scrotok, Thanks for the post. I am very curious to see who wins. I checked before turning in last night and it's 6am PST now, so I thought I'd peak at there site and see if they've listed the winner. I know it was announced last night, but who knows when it will be posted. Good luck to you too. ENoa4 _________________________ ENoa4 http://enoa4rpg.blogspot.com

I have a few ideas for Hythum III, but I really haven't done any work on it. I did put out a quick PnP conversion, UK5 Eye of the Serpent. I may take a break and stick with bug fixes until NWN2 is out. Then again, maybe the module writing bug will strike again. :-) ENoa4 _________________________ ENoa4 http://enoa4rpg.blogspot.com
