The Condasil island chain... A miasma of despair and broken dreams lingers in the air. War and betrayal has left no island untouched. This module is in the early stages of development. We believe in the Open Development approach and thus we continue to update our module as new quests are made and bugs are stamped out. well I finished civil service, but it's not mandatory for university/college, I just had to do it because people here think one should do something for society at least once in his life...or whatever.
However I'm done with that, and will probably start my studies at the local university this autmn...
As far as the module is concerned...
The server crash last year caused great data loss. I had backups of the site itself, but not of the postings in the forum. Unfortunately, we planned the module via the forum, and with the crash everything not allready implemented into the module was lost.
As I allready had quite some problems concerning time management as far as the module is concerned-module building takes a LOT of time-I experienced a sudden drop in motivation.
As I probaly won't have more free time when I start studying in a few months, I doubt I will continue this project. I'd like to see it finished, but as ShrikeKnight posted earlier, this project is (or was) very ambitous...this plus the massive data loss is reason enough to let it be good, I think.
I apologize for taking so long to answer your question.
The team leader, RM had to do civil service for a year(mandatory for those who wish to attend college in his country) and thus had little time to work on this. Our other partner, wwdragon had lost interest, and thus it was left to me. Unfortunately this was too ambitious a project for just one designer and thus I can proceed no further. I try and help people who come here with question abt what has been finished but I am not developing any new material for the mod at this time. Thank you for downloading Condasil and for voting. I apologise for not getting back to you sooner. RM's forum has been down for a while and thus the small walkthrough is down as well.
To answer some of your questions...
You can catch the boat as soon as you have gotten the advanced primer. The advanced primer must be gotten from the basement of the library from the flying books.(Talk to the headmaster, then Wonder the librarian, descend to basement, get primer, return to headmaster and then head to ship if you wish.)
The garden --- Dame Fallaria wants you to kill the two myconids. On one of the bodies is a green gem. This is proof that you did the deed so to speak.
To become a vampire, reach Condasil, speak with the town council and then head to the crypt. At the bottom is a young lady that will grant your request so to speak.
Alignment shifts are quite present and if you finish all the quests in the Academy you will run into at least one before you even make it to Condasil proper.
To become a Werewolf, you must reach Condasil, get to the area called Werewolf camp decend and meet with the head werewolf therein.
The NPC henchmen all start at least 15th. This is because we were still working on a manner to grow them so to speak. 15th was abt the lowest level they could be and still survive some of the dangers further into the module.

Not sure if I will explore this one a bit more at this stage. The pre-module area is a bit odd already (why such a large area with some monsters at the back?).
Next you walk up in your room to find your student garment (that one is better than all the equiment I lost). Next you can recruit a friend (gee she's 15th level!). You can walk around (not much to do really) unless you know how to catch a boat and/or how exactly you may join the vampires/werewolves (sorry the external sites where you may find the readme are dead ATM). I tried this module because somebody mentioned that alignment shifts have been included here. Too bad I did not see anything related so far. The garden quest cannot be completed (what else need to be done to make her happy?). Once you get your book(s) what/where to go? Thee whole thing feel a bit like a PW. Sorry I am no fan of PWs. Sorry.

Ireally wanted to like this but there was entirely too much backtracking to hold my interest. I must have gone to the mage in the cave 5 or 6 times.
I just downloaded the latest version, along with the hak. I've updated to version 1.67 and have the cep1.53 hak installed. However, when I try to load the module, I get the error that I'm missing some haks. These haks are:
This is directly from the nwclientlog file. Where do we get these haks or since you've recently updated the haks can I edit the module and remove these haks before playing?

got some server problems...but everything's back to normal for some time now...
I did a bit of looking around and found us primitive firearms. There is a hak called Issig Flintlocks that fits the bill. It doesn't replace other ranged weapons but is its own stand alone entity. Looks good actually. Right now it works under HOTU but the guy says that there is a beta in his PW that is both HOTU and CEP compliant. It is supposed to be a few months but then he'll upload the CEP compliant to the site. I'll give him a polite prod. :)

won't be much work...i allready mada a forum some time ago, but had no use for it...my friends allready had 2 forums, no need for a third one, and there never were enough people on my site...it was always quite empty, so i deleted it to save some webspace...but i still got a backup version on my pc. I'll set it up again, it should only take me a few minuites...
The turning ability would be equivalent to an 8th level Cleric.
Ability #2 Field of the Fallen --- The PC Valkyrie would be able to create a blade barrier 1/day
Ability #3: Call of Heroes --- PC would be able to summon an Einherjar, a hero that sits in Valhalla. This hero would fight for the Valkyrie for a set amount of time then depart.
Ability #4: Valkyrie Ascension --- The Valkyrie would go ethereal for a time.
Ability #5: Recall the Fallen --- Resurrection 1/day
Ability #6: Heal the Brave --- The Valkyrie would be able to cast Cure Critical Wounds 3/day
Valkyrie Assault(Final Ability) Valkyrie unleashes a Sunburst upon her foes.
Each of these abilities would have to be earned on different islands. Basically each would be an item given power.(Since we really don't want to deal with the hassle of creating a new prestige class.) The male PC will be given special abilities based on romance he is following. With Teresa it will be more technological abilities(Naquerrian heritage) and Hali's romance will allow Secrets of the Swan which I am still pondering... The quests of the Valkyrie
On each island there is a possibility that the PC may see Shalinar. This is an indicator that the PC can expand their abilities by going on a mission for Shalinar.
Such ability increases
Limited turning(Tame the unquiet dead) --- An item(like your raise clay golem, skeletal mage) will allow the PC Valkyrie to turn undead.

i just got the idea that i should place a warning in the mod desription not to read the comments...after reading all this the mod should be quite boring...;) maybe i should set up a forum instead...developing and comments sections...do you think it would be worth the effort?
