Shayan
This is a large DOWNLOADABLE persistent world developed by the Rhunning Team (http://ganwn.ausgamers.com/) from the World of Rhun created by Djervy Tar. What you are about to experience is the result of about 2 years of development by an assortment of experienced Dungeon Masters, and skilled scripters. We have all tried our very best to make this world more exciting and playable. At last count Rhun totals over 440 areas, 2000 items (ranging from unique to junk), and 1000 creatures. There are more than 70 quests to do, with difficulty that can be handled by a solo adventurer to quests that require the skills of several skilled adventures. It supports a large list of subraces, with lots of unique abilities.
A little bit about Rhun:
It is a vast world of adventure. The largest known city is Etum. The world is separated by a mountain range known as The Wyvern Spine. Etum has trade agreements with some other settlements in Rhun. One such settlement is the Village of Elidor, which lies to the southeast of Etum. Another settlement just started trading ore with Etum. This settlement is located high up in the Wyvern Mountains and is known as the Village of Glacial Hills.
Adventurers are eager to explore the world of Rhun and see what dangers lie within. You may get Recall Stones at your guilds; which is where the recall portal is as well. You may find a half-Orc, with a cart, that is ready to take you throughout Etum... for a price. Bards enjoy playing instruments in Rhun and they provide special gifts for themselves and their comrades... There have been numerous crimes reported so the King has called on the help of the Magistrates... so be careful when committing crimes in Etum. The penalties are severe.
You can buy maps of Rhun at the Etum Capitol building for a hefty fee. As the world of Rhun grows, many citizens are in need of champions to aid them in their queststhose willing to risk the dangers are encouraged to take up the call.
In Rhun we honor our dead. Some try to loot their graves but it only drives them to the side of evil. For the most powerful of champions, there are the Mountain Orcs and the Ice Blade Dwarven Tribe high up in the Wyvern Mountains that have been giving Glacial Hills its share of troubles.
There are many islands around Rhun; one of them is the Island of Taer. A strange desert island with an isolated village called Desert Springs. Not many dwell there fearful of the terrors the island is home to...
To the north lies uncharted forests and wilderness, and mysterious civilizations that it is home to. To the west of the mountain range, lies more jungle and even greater terrors in the form of winged lizards.
And of course not all the monsters dwell in the surface... there are even more dangerous creatures lying await in the darkness of Rhun's Underdark. (More detailed account is written in The Guide Rhuns Underdark)
In any case there is much for you to do in the World of Rhun.
Enjoy your travels. Watch your back. And keep a hand on your weapon at all times.
Simply host the module, allow players to join, and enjoy this realm of Rhun.
The files require WinRAR to extract.
Rhun.rar contains the module only.
Rhun_Underdark.rar contains the Guide to Rhun's Underdark
Rhun_Guide.rar contains the Guide to Rhun
Quest_maps.rar contains the map of new Rhun as well as a list of Etum quests.
Public Version 1.1 BETA (Ausgamers Version 17.1b)
This should hopefully fix all the issues in the current module. (Mainly the subraces). Please give feedback, and any bugs.
Has anyone managed to implement this with HCR? Mainly the death system, as at the minute there inst one as such, you can just respawn where you died with no XP loss. Thanks!

Still playing and loving Rhun. I've added a mod that allows cleaning and manipulation of all the inventories in all the stores from one central spot (in the Quiet Grove, I believe). I am having a bit of a quandry with Quest 3... I can't find the bag of gold nor can I see where it should be located. I hope I didn't accidently delete it while reviewing the mod. Can you give a hint about where (which area/placeable/etc.) I should look to be sure it is still working. I also created and added some "Killer" items which will allow a player to play even the Duegar mines as a solo... but they are only available as a temporary "gift" from the DM. Thanks for all the hard work!

Ok Ok for the last few years I have played DMed And Hosted. As far as I'm concerned I have yet to find a Mod that has more playability than Rhun. Love Your Mod will host one till I can't afford too. We used Rhun as a Base Mod for Blood N Lust Adult Play in Social And I tell you our visitors have a fun time in there endlessly. Thanks for your effort Lord Victor the Great:}

Shayan, its still a great mod. I managed to get the dmfi issues sorted.. Somone should tell the austrailian server admin that the rhun mod they have up has a bit of a bug in it. If u have a lich subrace, and try to use the infernal language wand, it summons the dmfi voice, and well... its set to commoner faction... which is hostile to the lich's undead faction... meaning its gonna try to kill you. I just set it to neutral and it sorted it. Also cache'ing the dmfi scripts worked too. I was wondering, the dm tokens that are in the pallette, there is also a dm token exchange book. It suggests giving an item buff to the item of the players choice for a certain amount of tokens. Is there an item, or placeable that lets dm's forge items?

Guess no one reads this anymore, but what the hay. From a post of mine a while ago, I mentioned I can't use a wand to change the name of an item, yes I appear before using it, but when I do, it stays the default name. I tried using it near an NPC, but to no avail. Anyone have any ideas why thias does not in RHUN?

Hey mate, I just loaded the mod onto my server, and its great, I only got 16 slots at the minute, but if many people play, i will see about upgrading the server. There only seems to be one thing I can fault with the mod.... It seems the DMFI voice doesnt wana work properly for me... I have tried the .appearance codes, the /dm :hello (to throw voice) have tried the /dm [hello im talking in elvish] code, but the voice is ignoring it. This is bit of a sore point for me, cause I was really wanting a mod which had the languages in to try and use it with players who could and couldnt understand it. You seem to be really good at the coding.. Would you ever consider doing language wands for all your subraces? Also, there appears to be bit of lag when trying to use the dmfi wands to create Sound Effects... is this due to the mods size, or is it cause too many scripts are cached? Either way, its a great mod, im just bit torn between it, and mods with the language wands and voice's that work.

What's the difference between this Rhun, and the one posted by Djeryv Tar? Is he trying to steal credit for this or what? Anyways, I guess this is the official one, since I posted here before. Have a new question. I created a dark-elf. They start off in the Valley of Shadows. I don't understand. What am I supposed to do? I can't go to the darkwood, everything there kills me instantly, the bears, the asabi (spelling) warriors. So I can't go thru there. Only other place I see is the goblin cave, and Im too weak to defeat the guy in there who has the harp. Am I to understand, that the only thing I can do, is fight goblins till im high enough level to go thru Darkwood. Sounds awfully boring, and silly. Plus the goblins in Darkwood cave, don't drop any loot, like they do in Galum Hills, so I can't make any money either.
