Hey guys -- I'm sincerely sorry about the spam votes; I did not solicit them and, as you can probably guess from the comments, they're part of a personal grudge by a troll I recently banned from my messageboard. I've been speaking with Maximus about trying to have them removed. It doesn't matter if it's a 1 or a 10, I don't want a vote I haven't earned. While I have asked friends to vote, I've always made it clear that I want them to vote honestly. Sorry that messageboard drama spilled over onto this contest.

I can't withdraw my vote, but I'll put it right in line with your score prior to eloH's stupidity. Sorry, Thad.

This is an excellent module. I loved the choices you were given, and the scripting was flawless. This is a winner right here, folks.

I quite liked the premise of this module and the question it tries to raise about the meaning of heroism. The writing was good, but the dialogues could've used a bit of work. To be specific, I couldn't quite believe that Magnar would decide to frame the PC and throw him/her in jail just for being insolent (since he doesn't do so if you're apologetic).

Revised, after further mods' reviews --------------- Very good module with developed story and NPCs, but there should be better opportunities to explore each character's motivations. How true were the PC's dreams? Dialog options allow the PC to choose different endings but no time to analyse those choices before reading the corresponding epilogues.

I liked how you gave the player a moral dilemma, though I disagreed with some part of the execution in terms of alignments. Magnar came across as such an evil character that it didn't feel like a lawful good action to turn in his murderer to the authorities, or to kill him, for that matter. And it didn't seem like a chaotic thing to make a remark that Magnar himself fled when he was berating my character for not fighting to the death. The other issue I had was with the lack of control that the player was given during the game. The only real decision was made at the end. The multiple endings were rather good though.

The last thing I wanted to do was to continue to play this module. The writing was good, but the plot and the direction that writing takes you isn't fun. I started off as a coward and deserter - wasn't a pleasant feeling.

Well. Clean scripting, no breaks or bugs. Follows the contest rules pretty decently, and gives a lot of choice as to the reasons for your actions. Especially for a first run, worhty of a good score. _________________________ "Oh s***. Not again." - Random pedestrian
