Description
CAUGHT IN THE STORM An unexpected storm forces the Sea Sultan into the nearest safe harbor: an isolated island deep in the Prowbreaker. Here, separated from the strife of Lorethia, the people of Serthiam have led ideal and peaceful lives. As a knight of the Lorethian Church, Gesram Oaksworn would normally be an unwelcome intrusion. In these times, however, evil has touched the island, and figures of ancient myth stir. Will the insignificant isle bring about a new terror, or a way to heal a broken world? Only one man can decide. Caught in the Storm, a single player adventure by Ansata Cain. Written for the premade character, Gesram Oaksworn. Features: -Three possible endings dependent upon player actions. -Custom monsters, multiple henchmen, and Pausanias' improved monster AI. -Large battle including Dom Queron's artillery scripts. -Custom music that adds to the atmosphere. To play, DL the ZIP, and follow the instructions in the 'Manual' readme.

Short survival horror module.
Issues:
- how many undead villagers can one slay? 1 of them respawns at the village, but maybe I should ran away from them.
- "bouclier du chaos" - french shield?
- when I told dershan to level-up he disappered
- when thief leaves the party, so does dershan _________________________ Thanks Rolo:)
I was trying to replay this excellent mod but could not finish it due to a strange bug.
* Spoiler *
Everything was fine until we got to the city. Once there I could hardly move my character even the usual makesafe command did not help. I would try to move my char to a place, he would make a step or two and turn back no matter what.
Got into the temple. Whatever script did not fire up. Did not find the sword. Did not have the conversation with the Lady. The hero did not show up either.
Not sure why. Played the whole thing in one go so it is not something like a corrupted saved game.

Thanks for playing Athena, I'm glad you found it an interesting experience. I'd like to make more modules, but I haven't had alot of spare time lately. That's not to say I won't ever build another. Again, thanks for the vote.

Nice mod so far...I don't know how far I am into it yet, but it's fun nonetheless^^ Just a question though...
**Spoiler**
How do you get into the city in the forest?? Maybe I missed something but I can't seem to get into the city or the crypt...and I talked to everyone...
**End Spoiler**
Thanks in advance! I will post up my vote after I am finished w/the mod. Nice work so far

The module comes with the predefined protagonist, Gesram Oaksworn. The personality of the character, however, is by no means fixed. You can be the usual Paladin do-gooder, a less caring and jaded veteran, or even join the side of evil. There are several opportunities to play outside the class stereotype.
I hope you enjoy it if you decide to play!

I think sleeping dog means in the atmoshpere, I actually only play darker characters. ( You know dark as in ravenloft dark not as in "It's dark in here")
I am trying to decide whether to d/l this mod, it looks well made, but will I have to play a pally, and be lawful good?

Thank you for the comments SleepingDog. I'm glad you liked the way the story is told. As for the darkness, if it's too shadowy try adjusting the Gamma under your video settings inside NWN.
The quest item is obtainable if Item Level Restrictions are set to off, which I think is the default setting. Some of the fights are tough, but there are tactics that make it easier going. Firstly, look for potions and kits that are out in the open or inside buildings. When fighting undead approach groups of them carefully. Try to draw a few off, and while the henchman fights them, repeatedly cast Turn Undead.
