Description
From the north, a king shall come, and glorious shall be his tale. Never shall his weapon falter. Never shall his wisdom fail. Yet though the lands all bow before him and the heavens give him praise, he shall know no rest or peace, for he has seen the end of days. And in his pride he shall awake, and forswear his dream of pain. But fate shall look upon him, cold of eye, and her purpose shall remain.
This is the second module in the Prophet series. It can be played either single-player or multi-player, but one of the characters must have played through the Prologue (Link) module. You will begin this module in the Hopping Hobgoblin Inn, where you meet and prepare to embark on a journey to find Uther Palandras, the legendary prophet-king.
Version 2.0
NOTE: This module, like the prologue, requires CEP-1.68. It should be played in Hardcore difficulty or higher.
This module has everything : great story, superb visuals... Perfect, just perfect.

Great module, one of the best but I could not finish it because of one (big, for me) issue. I played a monk up to the mountains area and there was absolutely no monk equipment (no monk gloves, no monk robes, none of the monk equipment that was present in the original nwn). That really rubbed me the wrong way. The module would have been near-perfect otherwise, if I had played a different class, but when you`re not able do damage some enemies because you use your fists and you have to use a dagger +1 in order to damage them... well, let's just say it wasn't that immersive. Maybe it's just me. But the thing is, it wasn't just that. The variety of items you could buy or find just seemed a bit... narrow. I WILL try to play it again with a different class, since I know what items I can find, but not yet, I have to get my patience back together :P I will be back when I finish it, probably with a positive commentary and rating. Until then, cheers, and take heed would-be-monks! _________________________ Needles in the eyes!

A great mod and a great series. A must have. Excellent craft and story. Just replayed this one recently when got the Part II and enjoyed it as much as when played it the first time.

fabulous as I have mentioned for Chapter2. definitely a 10! The story totally dwarfed the NWN OC

This is an absolutely fantastic module. It is so immersive that my sole caveat is one that in a less immersive game I would hardly notice. *#@SPOILERS!!@#* It was a bit jarring that when I met Llarien and there wasn't any option to have us recognize each other, as I am using the same character from Cave of Songs through to Honour Among Thieves all the way to Prophet, due to the ending levels of each fitting the starting levels of the next. This is an extremely minor caveat and is easy to ignore, and the module is otherwise flawlessly ideal. 10/10 indeed.

Your game has a saving bug at the mountains when looking for the tower. It sometimes crashes on load, and if you save in the mountain area, the save becomes corrupt and won't load. _________________________ Oh yeah! My computer is running SEX! *Pelvic Thrust*

What can I say other than this is an amazing piece of work. I had bought NWN when it first came out and started playing the orignal campaign, at the halfway point I was so bored I quit and gave the game away, this was no Baldur's Gate. So after seeing the Diamond version on sale at GOG.com I picked it up again after hearing how good the mod community was, and wow they weren't kidding if this mod is any indication. After getting a couple of graphic update mods this was the first story mod I tried along with the Prologue mod and it's every bit as good as Baldur's Gate so far, at least it has sucked me in as much as BG did and it's all I'm playing now lol. Looking forward to chapter 2 and 3. Again great job Baldecaran!

So I'm havin a slight problem with the beginning of the game with Merudoc at the Inn. I can't talk to him, I go to where he's standing by the wall n click on him but nothing happens. I've played this game before n I've had him with me, I know there's some things that I can't do in the game without him, like the crypt in the castle. Is anhyone else havin this problem?? _________________________ "Let the Dragon ride again on the winds of time. The Prophecies will be fulfilled. The Dragon is Reborn."
