Part two of �A Dance with Rogues�.
The story picks up at the point where the main character leaves Betancuria and sets sail for the village of Westwood. There is no introduction this time as this is not a whole new module but rather the second part of the story that has been started in part one. Hence it should only be played with a character you finished the first part with.
This is for Adults only! Contains graphical and verbal nudity, explicit content and forms of violence.
IMPORTANT! You need my hak pack "ACAG" so all the armor and clothes look as intended. Otherwise, everything will look REALLY messed up. I couldn't put the link here as by the time I was writing this, the hak pack had not yet been approved by the site admin.
A few other hints:
- Do not break conversations using the "ESC"-key. I have no idea what will happen if you do - you may get stuck, see funny results, or your computer may just commit suicide.
- Do not attack friendly creatures. If you wish to start a fight, do so choosing the appropriate options in the conversation trees.
- You get XP for picking locks, disarming traps and pick pocketing stuff. You also get XP for a successful skill check (persuade, bluff, intimidate etc.), so it's a good idea to spend a few points there.
- Most XP is granted for progressing in the story line.
- There's little (really little!) XP for killing things. There's "bonus" XP for killing things if the story requires it - you may however get the same amount of XP - or more! - by being sneaky and finding a way other than using violence...
- Upgrade your equipment! Spend your money! A couple of times it "may" seem like you lose your gear but there's always a chance to get everything back.
- The same applies to your henchmen (there are around ten you could pick up). Care for them, feed them, equip them well, and they'll be a big help, and more�?! ;-)
- A lot of "riddles" can be solved in different ways. If a door is too hard to unlock or you just cannot find that one stupid key, try looking for a different way.

The modules (parts one and two) now contain over 250.000 words of written dialogue (though most of it is cyber sex :P). It is a fantasy world of the mine, the result of many many many many (did I say many?) hours of (day-)dreaming.
I refuse to feel responsible for any mental damage playing this may cause :P I however do hope that you have fun playing it. If you don't, simply stop. If you do, that's all the reward I ever wanted...
I hope this gets updated. I wish that there were more adult orientated Mods, the prudes have more than enough to keep them drooling over thier bibles etc!

Steve, Sure, the story (both part one and this one) could have been told to one degree or another without the sexual content. It could also have been told without the violent content; the whole thing could have been about the princess using diplomacy to try and deal with the Dhorn; pages and pages of dialog trying to win favor and make deals with various lords and ladies to attempt to drive them out of her city diplomatically. Wouldn't that have been fun? Wouldn't it be silly for someone who was utterly opposed to violence to come here and downgrade all of the modules in the Vault - "Gee, great story but all that swordfighting and killing..." Well, it's just as silly to complain about an adult-themed module having adult content. Sure, the story could have been told without adult content - but that isn't the story the author wanted to tell.

This is so true WaterRabbit. Sometimes I play innocent character and sometimes very kinky and that's the biggest advantage of this mod. You can choose what you wanna do, and how you wanna do it. Even when you're forced to have sex with Pia (to complete a game I mean), you can just get drunk and you will wake up in the morning don't remember anything. Btw I didn't play for like 3 months and I just decided I will start from the beginning... maybe when I finish there will be some news *crossing fingers* :)

The could release Maxim without barely clad women as well and it would just be the same. :eyeroll: There is zero offensive content in either of these modules. It is only you that is choosing to be offended.

well, as a Valine fan I can honestly say, I don't really visit the ADWR fan groups/pages(there are a few) much these days. the modules were last updated last year though. the current part two was only updated to use the new hak file(no real changes made to it from the previous version) which will be used in the actual update for part two, which Valine is working on(as far as we know), as well as the current part 1. Since these are her only two submitted modules, naturally, we check in here fairly frequently. She's got quite a bit on her plate in RL, from what we understand, so she's naturally not as active as she might otherwise be. _________________________ jml's list of community addons/overrides, etc. Link

the good news on that note Steve, is you can use the search function and play only those types of mods, specifically with those filters enabled... glad you did enjoy the game though despite not meeting all your criteria. I happen to share your dislike for item/level stripping, but in the case of this particular series the item strips occur in places and for reasons that make sense. At the very least it makes it tolerable. Sure it could have been a complete story without the adult content, but the situations present in the series might not have made quite as much sense. as usual however, almost all of it is totally avoidable. I'm pretty sure the only part not avoidable was the cult temple just before going to the isle of prisoners(forced nudity is all, you can choose to merely kill the demon dogs). as for the swearing and what have you...just kill vico, that'll cut out about 99% of it. hmm..I sense that vico lovers are now glaring at me quite icily. . .well there you have it. _________________________ jml's list of community addons/overrides, etc. Link

In order to get a perfect 10 from me, you have to meet my expectations: No item or level strips Teen rating (no explicits) Good story are just a few. Describing it in advance in the description doesn't protect you (from my vote). It doesn't change the fact it doesn't match my criteria. HA! for many years I wondered why bed manufacturer has to put a usage instructions on their products even it seems so bloody obvious. It seems that no matter how explicit the warning, there are still cretins with too little intelligence to understand.
