After vanquishing the Yuan Ti cult on Ajit-Kahn, you soar on the back of a griffin into Cormyr, a once-proud kingdom now ravaged by war. Cut off from all aid and left searching for the means to reassemble the Cursed Three, a slow realization dawns that all is not as simple as it seems. Factions from the planes and beyond move against you, enemies more powerful than those invented in your darkest nightmare all eager to see their greatest general reborn. You must act quickly against all comers, for time grows short. High in a ruined tower set into a remote, wind-swept peak, rituals upon which hang the fate of Faerun will be performed. But will they be rituals of rebirth or of abolition of renewed life or of utter devastation?
A continuation of chapters 1, 2, 3, and 4. For characters level 7 to 8. May advance as high as 10th level.
Wow! I haven't had this much fun with a fan based (heck! official) campaign in a long time! The bugs were so few and minor that I never took note of them. I've played through all 5 parts (had some difficulty with the 4th and 5th, but, managed through) with a wizard and it was amazing. Reminded me of my days sitting in our living room with paper, pen and dice in hand. It's intelligent, well researeched (you know your Forgotten Realms!), well written story line, and so much more! Thank you! _________________________ Well...who would have thought THAT would happen? NWN Reviewers Forum: Link

I absolutely love this series. At first I was skeptical about the low-level aspect, but after playing, I can't complain at all - the balance is perfect, and the rarity of magical items made what I did get seem pretty special. Roleplay was great (played a CG Sorceress), and I could almost believe the game was made for that configuration. I really got a feel for who my character was, which is what I always look for in an RPG. I really appreciated the elaborate descriptions - they help my imagination kick in. The plot was thoroughly enjoyable as well. The companion characters were all well-developed for such (relatively) short modules, and I really enjoyed Brynn. Villians were good as well, especially Maldon. However, my favorite aspect had to be Saleron. Yes, I'm another fangirl. I loved how he developed and how his relationship with my character developed. I liked that he wasn't perfect, and that he actually appeared to be busy at the same time my character was - that was one thing I hated about the NWN OC, that the taskmasters just sat around while my person was running errands. Anyway, my PC was certainly in love with him by the end, haha. I know you're really busy Tiberius209, but if you ever do make that sequel in NWN2 (where female PC's can be married to Saleron), I think you would have an audience. :-) Oh, and the wizard's duel was absolutely brilliant. _________________________ If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar, a hoper, a prayer, a magic-bean-buyer. This is the first time I ever voted something because the series was so great that I _had_ to do so. Note: I started as a druid and ended with a druid/fighter 8/2, so my comments only apply to this character. And sorry for my English... Likes (too many that I can't list them all, so I only write down what I _really_ loved - beside Saleron ^^): - the spell duel: I actually _was_ worried because Maldon said something like "Saleron had never won a spell duel against him" - Saleron's last sentence in the good ending: you know, throughout the series I completely forgot that I once had that stupid nickname, but I wasn't really insulted, maybe my character just fell in love with Saleron ^^ (and I know that I'm not the only one) Out of curiosity: Does actually someone betrayed him in the end? Dislikes (too few that I must sound picky to others because I list them here ^^): - sometimes difficult navigation in Sigil I thought that I wouldn't play NWN2, but maybe I should reconsider?

Great module and best ending of all campaigns I played here yet.

@ molletje - I never had any crashing during any of the 5 chapters. However, 1) Check your override folder. If you have anything in there from previous games, it can conflict. 2) Be sure all your expansions are installed. Anything beyond that. I'm out of ideas. I hope this helps, and if not, Maybe someone else will have an answer. good luck Liso _________________________ Michele O'Sullivan Ossian Forum Admin Link Liso NWNPodcast Staff Link

I noticed that the game crashes when some merchants open their stores. It happens also in chapter 4. There were other players having the same problem and have asked how to fix it. I did not find any answers. So please can anyone tell me what to do?

Just completed the series with a Rogue lvl 10, Sigil was great, and earlier in the series those Carrion Crawlers scared the heebeejeebies out of me. Having played BG2 (a long time ago), familiarity with Athkatla and The Copper Coronet was really enjoyable. Secret door in Aegilaus manor drove me mad, had to consult the walkthrough. Good to find alternatives to fighting like bluffing the Gatekeeper on the plane of fire. Hardest challenge was taking on the Blighted one, managed to lure him onto some traps (that helped a little but it was still a close call). Liked the bard's tale at the end. Thanks for a fantastic set of mods.

The best of the serie. I played them all, and didn't fully enjoy the "low ex low treasure system". But this one, with its fabulous recreation of Sigil is one of the best mod I'v ever played. Thanks a lot.

This was truly the best of the series High marks for story, areas, atmosphere and.... One of the best story endings ever. I was thrilled that you had awesome closure on your ending. And the player had choices on how it ended. Awesome work! i look forward to your nwn2 projects! _________________________ Michele O'Sullivan Ossian Forum Admin Link Liso NWNPodcast Staff Link
