Description
This is The Light Reborn: Legends - part 5 of the Light Reborn Series (TLR). It can be played without having played the rest of the series.
A shadow has fallen across the world of Harthe. The arrival of a man, named Samuel, claiming to be a Veranite -- the lost race of kings blessed by the Creator of Harthe with divine power -- causes a stir in the country of Anvid. Could he really be a Veranite? Does he serve the Light, as he says, or is he a deceiver? Samuel gathers heroes across the land to do the will of the Virtues -- the spirits of good that he claims to talk to. You are one such hero. But the power of the Dark does not stand still. Who can resist it?
You're on your way to Anvid city to hunt down a Servant of Solanor named Tarnn. War between Anvid and Seradez has broken out and Tarnn may be at the center of it.
This mod contains a chest with "tokens" from past episodes. Pick the ones that you want to have appy to your character. Then enter the actual game mod and it will act like you have a character from past adventures.
Hi Alex Lalas, Once a mod is placed in the Hall of Fame it no longer shows up on the new module list. So they don't put it into the Hall of Fame (when part of a series) until it's been out for a while.

Why is this 5th part of the series not posted on the Hall of Fame?

fardoche77, Sorry, typed too fast. "I hope I get a chance to make another mod in NWN2." We'll see. I may yet add some additional action sequence. I feel the module needs at least one more and I wished I had time to do two more.

fardoche77, Thanks for the feedback. I hope I get a chance to. I admit I'm curious about what you think my view of religion is after this mod. :)

First, thanks very much for such a great series. Memorable characters, great plot and, even though I don't share the author's views on religion and all, I just loved the story, I really did. (Spelling mistakes were annoying, though. I'm french canadian but I noticed. "Sight" is not spelled "site") But.. there's always a but. I must admit I liked part III better. More action... and the investigation was so fun! This last part was wordy, aye, but it was also a bit short, and waaayy to short on action. And some dialogues were lengthy for nothing, in my opinion. BUT when it started rockin', wow... it sure was challenging. Again, thank you Bruce. If you manage to get some free time, please make more of those great quality modules... in NWN2!

Haven't tried it again yet, though I did download the update. See my e-mail. _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them. Thanks, Steve

Steve_Savicki, Steve, were you able to repeat this problem? If not, it should just be an intermitent bug. I put a fix in 1.5 so that a failsafe will fire if you're stuck in movie mode and take you out of it after a little while. This should avoid the occaisional problem. Even if you can repeat the problem, and it's machine specific, I hope the failsafe will still work correctly on it and so I've probably already fixed it in 1.5.

Bruce, One bug I forgot to mention. If you go back to the main opponent who attacks Samuel and his uncle, BEFORE destroying the tree, you're stuck in movie mode. _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them. Thanks, Steve

I played the first 3 mods as a single player and was fortunate enough to play the The Light Reborn: Legends in a multiplayer beta test. It is an incredibly rich and complex world and plot. There are NPCs so dastardly you want to hate them and some so good you could just kiss them! Bruce has defined a world that requires thought and conscience but nothing is ever shoved down your throat. The opportunity is there for many options. The cut scenes are grand and informative! I wholeheartedly recommend this mod to anyone and urge you to play the whole series as a great adeventure with a heart. _________________________ Real men wear kilts
