Update 9/26/03: uses autoinstaller. Please read file 'Citadel of Blood 3.txt' which is loaded with the module in the modules directory. The epic continues. This is the grand finale. You've met the great dragon Eshuranadtha and she gave you the Staff of Sandoval in Chapter 2. You journey to Totengaard to make your assault on the Citadel of Blood. How will you get there? Your choices are many. Things aren't always obvious. Your quest is to destroy the portal deep inside the Citadel using the Staff of Sandoval. Will you succeed? Or will you die a glorious death? This is an action-packed adventure with a rich plot that requires you to think and role play. Read me file included. Uses Elesias' Abyss Hak which is included in the zip.
Please don't use exe files. Think about the Mac and Linux users. I am a Windows user, but even I prefer zips for total control over the installation.

Just finished the series. A supurb work. Certainly better than anything I have seen from Bioware and in the top 5 of the hall of fame (I could be persuaded to claim it is #1). The story line is good, progression of events well laid out and encounters well designed. The Citadel Music was a definite bonus. Some comments, and these are my opinions. Certainly others would disagree. 1.) I felt the starting level was a little high. Started as Ranger4/Rogue1 with difficulty set to HCR. Did not use henchman until encounter with Eric's bro and found most encounters unchallenging. The jabberwocke was fun, as was the 1/2 orc with great sword. Fighting 3 dragons was difficult, but I attacked the black 1st, the green joined in but was out of Klauth's sight, so he was handled separately. He and PC were bout equal, neither being able to consistantly hit the other. The loser being the first to run out of healing and dragon's have few pockets. I think starting @ lvl 3 would be appropriate and new chars for a party. 2.) the loot was a little heavy and most found in chests. The found weapons armor seemed to be provided mostly for fighters. I had 5 or 6 copies of blessing of daystar. Would like to have seen a rapier of the high road desert fury (or equivalents) among the mix for other classes. Also, not much available for monks. 3.) Didn't read "hints to players" until finished. PC saw chess board and didn't see need to cross it, so went around. Also, did encounter some bodaks (ouch). BUG: Hit a bug. Think this is a Bioware bug and tied to HCR, as I had it once in another mod. Going back in time, I first took the ring from Klauth by force, Twice knocking him down to neutral before getting it. During the fight, PC killed a saurian that had been pooping in a corner from dragon fear and then attacke when it wore off. When done, all factions were hostile, including copper dragon. Reloaded and negotiated, thus changing history. ID

The entire series is exceptional, better than anything Bioware produced.

Just wanted to let you know that people are still downloading and TRULY enjoying your module. I've played quite a few modules lately (never did 1st time i installed NWN).. and this series is by far the best i have encountered so far. A lot of work went into this and it is truly appreciated. All the showering of affection aside... some of the areas were by far too large for what was contained within, loved the long ones that made the map scroll but some of the other outdoor areas we just immense and only had a few small encounters / sites of interest... One quetion though (if you still read these) I have just went through the planes of suffering (not sure if i remember name right) and entered the citatel basement.. I fought the sladd's and the door with the warning marker is locked and I have no key, I pretty much just walked straight up the middle of the planes and detoured to save the 2 groups of people so is there something I missed there? email: ynotony73@hotmail.com

A very good module; plenty to do but not toomany quests outside the main one. Also liked the music; particularly Carmina Burana in the Citadel.

Enjoyable if straightforward adventure-- nice use of music.

I just finished all three of these mods, and I enjoyed them a lot. As it is, it's a great set of modules for single or multi-player. The only thing that could have made it significantly better would have been a dual storyline for evil characters. But still, I enjoyed playing a great deal. Keep up the great work!

Well I finished up. Nice mod. I saw the influence of Morrowind here and there. Does the sword/Orc Umbra jog memories? But that's good. I like retellings. Although I would have used a different name. ============== Spoiler.... Get this sword no matter how many times this guy kills you. It is nasty. Once I got that sword I kinda steamrolled over mucho monsters. Whoot!
