Description
Nominated for 2007 Module of the Year!
"Time Becomes a Loop" is a story-driven journey over, under, and through Time. Time . . . does it flow like a river to the sea, branching into streams and rivulets? Or is it a lake, filling with millions of raindrops whose splashes, however brief, affect it irrevocably and permanently?
You have come to the outskirts of Pleasanton to visit Moebius for the summer, as you often do. Moebius is a long-time friend of the family, and although you usually call him "Uncle", he isn't related to you by blood. You have been helping him out with the many inventions he is working on -- most recently, a device that will allow one to travel back in time, called the Diurnal Displacement Device (DDDevice, for short). Hopefully it will be finished soon, and you can try it out . . .
A very enjoyable module, excellent fun! :) Good dialogue NPCs gave a simple town a feeling of home, and the variations on the ways to complete the 'fetch' quests were enjoyed and appreciated. I thought the 'maze' was handled superbly with a fairly linear style keeping you on track and the storyline is a perfetly executed time travel story. Played in an MP party of 3 and had no trouble or bugs that affected gameplay. We did get, right at the very end, a 'familiar voice' appear in halfling form in the room with us after all was done which shouldn't happen? (It was with 1.69 patch so maybe....?) Anyway, great fun, reccomended to all. Congratualtions on the Golden Dragon and I hope to see IAT2 very soon! :) _________________________ Check out the latest reviews of new modules: The NWVault Reviewers Guild The 'A Dance with Rogues Discussion Group'

Nice short mod, good visuals, no bugs found. Liked it a lot. Maze was a bit overdone, but still fun. Good job. _________________________ Click Link to view content submitted by me.

**SPOILERS** Another thing, I think the time guard was quite an interesting character and his speech was quite fitting for his role, BUT ... perhaps it was a little TOO complicated? Sure, I understood the basics of it but I have to admit that I had a hard time understanding. :D But perhaps that was your intention? In that case, you most truly suceeded. :) **SPOILERS END** _________________________ /// Berra (Hall of Fame, Reviewer's Award and Golden Dragon Winner): Berra's Module Collection (All of Berra's NWN1 works) Interviews: NWN-PODCAST INTERVIEW GOLDEN DRAGON AWARD INTERVIEW. I think this was a pretty interesting module. One thing that impressed me quite a bit was the intro movie. It was spectacular! :D The story and plot-twists were very interesting and you always wondered what would happend next and what the different characters' hidden purposes were. Quite interesting. **SPOILERS** It began as a simple "fetch-quest" but changed to something entirely different with time and time-travel as a focus (which was quite expected). :D I have to admit that the fetch quests kinda made me sigh, since after having played many modules on the vault, you've become quite satisfied with auch "fetch quests" since you've have already completed such quests about a thousand times before. Mostly because they don't feel that fun anymore. It's always like, go there, get this and bring it back. Boring. But the rest of the module made up for most of that though since the rest was very interesting. Kind of reminded me of Stefan Gagne's HexCoda (which can also be found on the vault). The time-loop was very interesting and I couldn't have guessed that final plot-twist regarding the one actually responsible for it all. Also the plot-twist regarding the Bots was quite a surprise as well but made so much sense when it was finally revealed. Very interesting. Time-loops can do horrible things if they are misused. There were some things minior bugs though. It seems like in the end when you return to the town when two months have passed, that if you enter one of the houses and exit it, you'll enter the town-area where the kids are still alive and the statue in the middle of the city is not longer broken. Perhaps you should take a look into this? Also I think the "time-dimension" area was pretty cool but I still think you should've used more placeables to make the area feel more original. And I wouldn't have used the castle tileset. I would've used a more interesting tileset, but perhaps that's just me. **SPOILERS END** Overall though, I enjoyed myself quite a bit and I think your mods deserves at least a 9.00 vote. Thanks for making it! _________________________ /// Berra (Hall of Fame, Reviewer's Award and Golden Dragon Winner): Berra's Module Collection (All of Berra's NWN1 works) Interviews: NWN-PODCAST INTERVIEW GOLDEN DRAGON AWARD INTERVIEW. Played this multiplayer over at Neverwinter Connections, with two other people, all level 6 PCs. Very enjoyable in multiplayer, making one person the primary with Moebius worked out well. No multiplayer bugs, although the cutscene cameras didn't always work properly (hard to avoid, though). Interesting plot, intelligent and well-crafted NPC dialog, and some novel features (including good use of custom content) make this module well worth playing. All three of us who played it vote for a sequel, hope there is one. :)

Sorry, I also wanted to add how impressed with your movie I was. It looked like there was a lot of work put into it. It was worth the download time. thanks
