A hidden gem.
Why is this not in the Hall of Fame?
Played a Prince of Persia type of rogue. Started lvl 1. Finished R1/F1.

I've just remembered one more bug: when talking to the injured choreographer you receive 50XP each time you initiate the conversation. Free XPs, yeah. _________________________ Thanks Rolo:)

Not sure why my vote disappeared. Regardless of that, the module is nice short adventure.
glitches:
- after some questioning regarding missing kobold, other kobolds started referring to themselves as "Klonk"
- I shot the goblin and he froze in place, before closing the gate, solved by reloading a save
- you could export my PC, after I was able to inform kobold boss of goblins' activity, not before _________________________ Thanks Rolo:)

A clever and funny little module which was a lot of fun to play. I only wish it was a little longer.

Character: Human Sorcerer, lv. 1 to lv. 2 in this module.
Snickersnack! is a terrific little module. You are adventuring in the desert when you come upon a sign advertising the need for an adventurer, and promising great rewards. What ends up happening, without giving too much away, is that you are working for a tribe of Kobolds on a quest to save one of their kin. The kobolds are the stars of the module, and are incredibly well-realized. Each one has a unique name, and most have a specific job or role within the clan. There are an amazing number of animated sequences, short and long, that make this module delightful and sometimes laugh-out-loud funny.
The adventure itself is very short, but is full of great little touches that kept a smile on my face. Sometimes it was the humor, and sometimes it was just wicked clever-ness. Also, there are a number of fairly hidden conversations and even at least one question involving my sorcerer's summoned animal and familiar. There's not a lot of action (as advertised, it's hack and slash light), but what is there is fine (although not very exciting). _________________________ My NWN Blog FRW Character Creator

Good fun. I made a mistake when I tried to take care of the goblin issue and got stuck. Otherwise excellent job.

I thought this was good fun but not quite deserving of a 9.00 or above. I know, it's an old contest module and all and the scripting and dialogues are nice, but I was expecting more from the ratings. Still, pretty good fun. Recommended.

I got side tracked at trying to solve the goblin issue. Other than that, I love this mod. I would say what I was impressed by, but that would be spoilers!
I went all the way back reporting about that locked door to Gronk, but it doesn't trigger anything... Dead end, but I was able to finish the game. _________________________ @ + jml, level 52

This was an excellent starting point for character ideas I recently had, I used a Bedine female exiled from her tribe for using arcane magic as a Sorcerer, I eventually plan to add Dragon Disciple to her.
++++SPOILERS++++
PROS
- Nice short adventure playable in a brief moment.
- Simple but fun quests.
- Interesting puzzle that is fun to solve and not too hard to figure out.
- Areas are not too big.
- No overuse of poison/disease! Definitely a plus in a low level module.
- I like how when I examine some creatures, the Difficulty makes them look tougher than they are, adds to atmosphere.
- The kobolds were completely interesting and fun!
CONS
- There was a bit too much in the way of magic given out. I finished with three different daggers two that could be sold for lots of gold. The four wands found may use Cantrips (0 level spells) but should have had only 1 charge, the one needed for the puzzle.
- You cannot kill the goblins. It is possible to catch them before they get away but they are virtually unkillable. If you catch them they should be killable. And when reporting on the goblins, the quest involving it does not get marked solved.
- No reason for the Report Card on the crossbow given. Why give someone an item when it does nothing? Could have been developed into a quest somehow.
- When the dance begins, Rizza and another kobold communicated using the same dialog as when Rizza found the character with the second kobold saying the character's lines.
WEIRD
- I do not understand why the trasition markers on the initial road were present when you cannot use them.
- If my character has to say, "Goodbye," so many times again, I'll freak. I am just so unused to seeing it in the dialog.

Cool little adventure... really well done, with some slick animations. The maze was a nice feature.
Pretty fun module but I'm stuck at the door with the sphinx.
*SPOILER*
I have gotten the white lens and placed it in the proper focus but nothing happens. What am I missing?

fun little mod, very tight scripting and funny new ideas, i´m gonna give you full score because imo that wouldn´t be fair to long modules which have more work in it. just my opinion though, but nontheless nice work!

Not really any roleplay or Fights. This is a small mod all the marks are for cut scene and koboloid torture. _________________________ Neverwinter Balance Patch Balance Patch

This is great. The best kobold mod ever done, hehe.

Great dialog, impressive scripting, fun dance scene. I really enjoyed this one. These are kobolds even Deekin would be proud of.

Edit (with spoilers): In response to my previous post, I believe the door problem I mentioned was caused by the "listener" at the door going hostile and then moving away from the doorway when I attacked the kobolds. This could be fixed, I think, by editing the listener's faction - not that it needs to be, but it's one solution to the problem.

My sibling and I like kobolds, so we tried this (a while ago) and found this module very likable. It was short, amusing, and made us laugh--- multiple times. It was the little things, such as the Vorpal Blade being a little dagger, the cutscene at the beginning, and the sign. The entire module, except for the little maze, was hilarious to us, for some reason.

Excellent work! I agree with McV's comments regarding the maze but it seems to be an NWN weakness as opposed to a builder issue. Very fun game, entertaining characters, and some humor. Very nice job! _________________________ The less you know, the more you believe.

Lovely work - lots to do, well polished, and relatively short.
Two small issues (sort of spoilers):
1. How empty the maze was - I realize, however, that a large maze is likely the only way to get a NwN maze to "work," so this is not a major problem.
2. Also, I'm not sure why, but when I first started playing I tried attacking the kobolds "just to see what would happen." Factions reset as they should and I was able to ask the temple cleric to send me back where I died. However, when I then tried to use the password to open the door to the oasis, it wouldn't work. I don't know if this was intentional (as in, if the PC attacks the kobolds, they seal the door), or an accident of scripting. Either way I recieved no message explaining it, so I thought I'd mention it just in case it was a bug.

Lots of fun. I much prefer playing modules like this, which are polished, with interesting dialogues, characters, and fun things to find, without too much downtime, instead of big but somewhat empty or less polished modules. Took me about an hour.

Hot damn, I'm giving far too generous scores for itty bitty modules, but there you are.
This was just the perfect little thing, took me exactly one hour to play through.
Tremendously well crafted areas, humour and a little bit of action.
Everybody should play this through just to get a look at the catapult action. :)
The goblins at the door were a second favourite.

I just downloaded this module about an hour and a half ago, and have just finished it now. It was a blast! It totally made my afternoon! The cutscenes were well made, the scripting is incredible, and I received plenty of good laughs. I simply can't give you anything lower than a 10, great work! _________________________ RB
