Description
[v.2.4] Requires: NWN1.69+SoU+HotU
Although this is called a 'prelude', it's meant to be played after "Angel Falls" (but that's a recommendation, not a hard requirement). It's also meant to be played with a different character, since it takes place 100 years before the events in "Angel Falls" and it's geared for around 10th level.
INTRO: "After your party had an unfortunate encounter with a lich you were killed. They brought you to the Alabaster Temple of The Way for ressurection, but after learning of the exorbitant fee that Cardinal Abernathy charged for such a service, they took your gold and left your body there."
Personally, I think that this module is polished enough, especially for such a non-linear adventure, but just to clarify my previous bugreport: 12 Both bugs reproduce themselves quite stable, and everything is OK with my PC and NWN installation: finished more than hundred mods without any "exotic" problems. I've preserved the saves, may send/post them if you're interested. 3 They ARE at the same place at the same time. The cutscene goes like this: Cardinal and sister Lilian stand before the waterfall (near the rope), with Lilith appearing in the background. Then, new level loads, and we see another cutscene, where Cardinal and sister Lilian are purifying the place. Isn't it strange? 5 It has something to do with summons because the summoned creature keeps fighting with golem even when he entered non-aggresive state, thus preventing PC from opening the door. As a result, the player may not notice that golem entered non-aggressive state (as its fight with summoned creature continues almost constantly), and may decide that he reached a dead end. And - sorry - forgot to vote, doing it now.

Thank you for that non-vote endorsement and feedback macabroid. *spoilers* #1. I reach it everytime, don't know what happened in your case. #2. It works for me both ways. #3. They're not at the same place at the same time, so there's nothing to react too - Lilith doesn't just wait there either. #4. Thanks, it was easy to fix both. #5. That isn't actually a bug nor is it about summons. Did you also get this message: "You can't use that while in combat." If the module thinks you're still in combat you can't use certain doors or other travel objects like rope.

Restarted this mod using latest version, and yes, the bug with Sister Lilian is fixed now. Finished mod this time, reached 4 of 5 endings. Pros: 1. For the first time I see that the whole "prequel" system actually works, mod nicely clarifies some loose ends from "Angel Falls" without being boring or predictable. 2. It's very easy to finish this mod, but to understand what's going on, you have to replay mod at least twice. A nice diversion from boring linearity of standard approach. 3. Truly non-linear, and very enigmatic. Cons: 1. It seems that only a dedicated easter egg hunter could truly appreciate this mod, other gamers will just loose interest and spoil the fan by reading readme too soon. 2. Cutscenes were too stiff and lacking camera work (still, it's better than no cutscenes at all). 3. Well, not exactly a con, but... It's not an atmospheric horror any more, it's just an enigmatic, and may be sometimes puzzling, gaming experience. Bugs: 1. The lich ending is unreachable. Saying to Gwen "I have an unfinished business with lich" results in log message "Unexpected module error", and no cutscene at all. 2. After destroying the Orb, I can't leave to the North, although Cardinal has already removed his spell and before destroying the Orb, I was able to leave without problems. Why I can't do it now? 3. It's strange that during the "good" ending Cardinal and Sister Lillian just stand before the waterfall, without any reaction on Lilith's current presence. 4. Never entered Madame Elorha's wagon before. Killed Lilith, watched the cutscene where Elorha died. Than, for the first time entered the wagon. First, it's possible to hear the roar from now-dead panther. Second, leaving the wagon starts an infinite cutscene where nothing is happening at all. 5. Proto-Golem keeps fighting with a summoned creature even after he says "Malfunction". As a result, even having the key, you can't leave through the door: a message "Nope, can't do that" continues to show, as if the key is not from this door. You have to unsummon your creature, than the key will work. Still - a great module, intriguing and surprisingly deep, and surely it's worth much more than 800 current downloads.

Ah I guess the walkthrough never menions how to get there. *spoiler* The Sorcerer's mirror is an interdimensional portal that leads there.

I just began playing it and it's quite fun!:D *spoiler* I just can't seem to get the shell the sorceror wants apparantly-I'm trying to get to Candyland but I can't go anywhere but the clouds. *endspoiler*

Thank you. I was wondering if people were still playing this one.

Things I liked: visuals, music, cutscenes, scripting and CaNdYlAnD. Things I didn't like: lack of a definite plotline (ran around a lot with no journal entries after second geas task). Also, "lich" ending was very illogical. Other things (with some spoilers): I didn't notice the golem to drop a key :-( and found out about it only from the walkthrough, *after* I killed Lilith. By the way, killing her was very easy with a wizard, she had no spell resistance or elemental immunities :-) _________________________ Click Link to view content submitted by me.

Thank you for your feedback. I don't have alot of playtesters (in fact this is still sitting in the playtest queue at The Builder's Project Guild). It's also frustrating when I can't duplicate certain bugs. Angel Falls has some sort of camera bug for example. Anyway, I'm going to review your points so thanks again.
