Terinus the Black, former King's wizard and the man responsible for the war,
reveals to you the terrible truth of your situation, and the legendary foes that you are about to confront. Failure here will result in the total elimination of Aielund by powers beyond your comprehension.
You and your companions must walk the very planes of existence in a desperate search for the power needed to stop the coming onslaught, confront horrors and wonders from beyond the stars, and ultimately assail the ancients in the very heart of their stronghold. The final battle draws near, and only the bravest and boldest will survive.
Okay, I have grown desperate! I'm at the final part, in the citadel, up on the command deck ...with a whole two minutes remaining, from the time I arrive there. I figured, well, I'm sure I can make it, but ...well, I was surprised to learn that not only were there a great number of fights still waiting for me, but---most frustrating of all, really---the game doesn't allow you to interact with things while in combat (and makes you even wait until combat officially "ends" ...which takes too much precious time!) Needless to say, I quickly learned that two minutes was not enough time. Now, I'd had a previous save, but---to add another bruise---I found that it'd somehow been corrupted, and I can't load it without the game crashing. So I've been trying -desperately- to win with those two minutes ...up to and including wildly cheating, but I always fall short. I've played---and HEAVILY---enjoyed this entire game, and now I'm committed. I don't care if I have to cheat to make it work, I -have- to see the ending after all this! I even peeked in the toolset for the timer variable, to see if I couldn't restart the timer, but I can't make heads or tails of it. With that said ...IS it possible to restart the timer via Debug? Please someone tell me there is ...I must have this ending, but the thought of restarting from scratch makes me weep! Thanks, either way!

An Absolutely epic series, that is a must play, and eventually replay.

Loved the polish and balance, however the story haven't really grabbed me. Perhaps I am spoiled by the kinds of stories you get in Grim Fandango or TLJ, I don't know. The series however is really solid and well worth the time spent. _________________________ Do dance with the rogues.

Yes, it's updated for 1.69. Try having Robert leave your party and rejoin.

I seem to be unable to level up Robert Black past 29. When I select the option in his conversation window for him to level up it says "missing blueprint for black31." Is this intentional or is something missing from my version of the module?

Just finished all the modules, and I must say I realize why people say this is better than the OC. I agree. Sure it has a few flaws like every other module here, but it's an epic series of modules both in story and in gameplay. Great work.

Hi Savant: Looking to play your series again, perhaps in a few months (started many years ago, but never finished due to real life and some glitches with the modules). Can you advise if you updated all your modules in this series to ver 1.69? Thanks.

The romances break if you use the horses (the engine just can't handle them imo). This is something I want to correct one day, by removing horses altogether.

There will be spoilers, you are forewarned. Finished this module series recently. It was good enough to get me addicted and actually want to press forward - which is a good thing. In order of preference: Act 4 pt 2, 4 pt 3, 4 pt 1, 3, 2, 1. I was almost turned off by the huge (If temporary) difficulty spike Act 4 pt three presents. From entering the Hall of Worlds until whenever you beat the first 'epic equipment' area is a hell. Literally, in my case, as my Paladin/PDK/Champion stormed Hell first. Going in wasn't bad. Getting out was Hell. But after that the difficulty settled down a lot and I was satisfied. A few nitpicks that just nag on me with a module of this scope. At the finale video it said Dante 'lived happily with Mona' and the like. When I remember for a fact I both killed and stripped both of them at Bracksworth. Minor plot hole, could probably be easily glossed over with a 'they got rezzed' deal. :P I also can't help but think my Criosa romance got broken, if you even put that option in to follow through into Act 4. I recall that in 3 she specifically told the King she loved me. Again, no big deal in the long run, but made some continuity errors. And, finally, it would've been great to give the SPACE MIND FLAYERS some characterization. Even a conversation with the Commander at the end explaining beliefs and goals would have done a lot to help there character. Aside from those, a spot on series of modules. Something I'll definitely replay in the future.
