For the past few years, an ogre that lairs in a cave near the wilderness town of Dundraville has demanded tributes of ale and supplies. When the ogre walked into town only to have his request denied, he flew into a rage. The brute dragged two townsolk off to his cave, to be eaten for sure! The villagers have no heroes to protect them so someone must rise to the challenge! Three determined townsfolk have taken decided to take justice into their own hands. Can these village commoners defeat the ogre in his own lair before their fellows are eaten?

Hey, you know I can make your old entry(WPM) visible back again? Anyway I'm sending you an email right now.
and raising my vote :)

- Added an enlarged pseudodragon , just for you!
- Newt's X-ray goggles: hes got them!
- Newt does not like to throw his grenades. Took them out of his inv, hid then in the ogre's cave..
- Potion of align weapon: is there any use for it? I took down quasit without it (with some problems I have to say) No use besides plot
- black crates and barrels are useable(highlightable with TAB key) even if they have nofunction, no inventory ("below the ogre.." area) -Theyre now unusable
- Mayor's wife is an unresolved end: where is she? I could not find her. - Shes long gone, never meant to be a plot.
- Rosie the Pup: who is she/he/it? Has she/he/it submitted anything or just helped you with your modules? Rosies my dog. She the mascot of the op.
- was vaelesca's threat of releasing undead upon village empty? There are no undead in the village after going through second portal. - It was empty, shes a total b word.
- White Plum Mountain: I heard you were tinkering around with it, so how it goes? Is it in playable state now? I have not played it anyway before you took it down. When are you going to uplaod it? Would you like a playtest? Oh and last, but not least: is there any follow ups or prequels regarding that story(it's pnp conversion, isn't it?) -You can playtest if you want. Just email me.
As always I will raise my vote when you will update the module >:) Thanks!
- Mayor won't take codex iiyum if you don't want to go to silverton - was meant to be that way for the next mod.
- If you explore the ENTIRE hillock first, the mayor won't take ogre's head and probably gives you smaller reward or something. Made the narrator useable, so you can use it again, just in case.
- When coming to the hillock if you chose to go to your left as you enter it (along the "coast") via a slope and then go back through "skull's nose" and step on the trigger conversation pops-up and terminates immediately. Blocked the left way
This are is also very barren, even though your conversation says it is barren, it could have some rocks or sth. Added tons o rocks
- 8th rung trap is triggered even if both me and gnome can see it(via conversation) The trap is destroyed now when you discover it.
-double bottom barrel: gnome(Newt) in my party, I start conversation with the barrel and after gnome interjects the conversation ends without any conclusion. I try to talk again to the barrel but it shows some one-liner only. I tried bashing it, but nothing happened afterwards. Was missing a thread add, fixed it.
- Doors, chests: locked with need of a key makes no sense if you have rogue companion. Either make it/Newt say that "I won't break in other villagers houses!" Or "This lock is beyond my skills, we will have to find a key!. Otherwise the rouge henchman is just useless Did it with doors, not chests.
Great catches, suggestions all around!
- no readme: it would be useful to have one -done

w- You can try my updated WPM too. I took mine down because SirOtus was working on one too. And I recently got creatively led away by the A series, which are my all time fav. _________________________ Well, y'know... Sometimes you eat the bar, and..

werelynx - Congrats on the new power! I actually have been thinking of re-releasing that. I also have a rough of A1 done, and some of A2 if you want to sample it. The hope is to make it an A1-4 saga, RL permitting. _________________________ Well, y'know... Sometimes you eat the bar, and..

Abusing my new found powers* of moderating the vault, I can see that you have made quite a few modules beside the white plum mountain and the ones that are visible right now.
If you need to make them visible anytime, contact me or Rolo.
I believe you know my e-mail(which I hesitate to post here, as it is my main one, don't want the spam, you know)
In case you don't try my profile at BSN: social.bioware.com/2007862/
*Granted by Rolo, the Vault Admin, until I abuse them too much :p

Overall a nicely-polished rural adventure, even if it is exploring the already well-trodded paths. There is no Dragon at the end, despite the screenshot of mod cover/module description in-game.
- typos(in conversation, if not prompted otherwise): "(..)another frigid winter"(no dot at the end of sentence) - Sheryn-ella the druid; "Myna/Myrra" - book on Myrra/Myna, Goddes of Luck; "this part was completed by adventurers: "(no names afterwards, just next sentence) - Erasmus' Old Diary;
- no readme: it would be useful to have one
- doors, chests: locked with need of a key makes no sense if you have rogue companion. Either make it/Newt say that "I won't break in other villagers houses!" Or "This lock is beyond my skills, we will have to find a key!. Otherwise the rouge henchman is just useless
- Newt's X-ray goggles: it would be neat if there was a "Mysterius Goggles" in his inventory after all
- Newt does not like to throw his grenades
- potion of align weapon: is there any use for it? I took down quasit without it(with some problems I have to say)
- double bottom barrel: gnome(Newt) in my party, I satart conversation with the barrel and afer gnome interjects the conversation ends without any conclusion. I try to talk again to the barrel but it shows some one-liner only. I tried bashing it, but nothing happened afterwards.

No sequel, it's standalone. Besides Vipre, there was never much support from the community to warrant it, so I moved onto other projects that did get/need more attention. I do love this little mod.. _________________________ Well, y'know... Sometimes you eat the bar, and..

Udasu, does this module feature a cliffhanger or unresolved story/plot at the end? Can it be played as stand-alone? Is there a sequel in the works?
Posted by udasu at 2012-05-18 18:35:46 Voted 10.00
TimG - Thanks! Vipre put some great polish on it too. We never did get the sequel going.. _________________________ Well, y'know... Sometimes you eat the bar, and..

What a great little module! I am a fan of short and simple as often there's not enough time to get engrossed in a larger story. This is just a perfect little grab and play! Terrific balance and good looks too. If it was MP then it'd be 10! (hint, hint)

From what I've found with modding, you need to be inspired, and stay inspired in a project. For me, if others are behind it, I usually get/stay inspired or am re-inspired. That being said, I'll start working with Vipre to see how we can get this project underway as a collaboration, as its being built, as opposed to after the fact. -U _________________________ Well, y'know... Sure, I'm game.
I've done as much as I think I can to this mod shy of implementing player suggestions and bugfixes, though had I access to the original PnP version a custom rumors system wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility. _________________________ I've got games in my blood. Well, I finally finished the game and I enjoyed it a lot! Sorry it was over so soon, and I'm looking forward to part 2(?) in Silverton if there is one.
Thanks again for another great mod, and now... (cue organ music) it's back to "The Accursed Tower"! :)

I remember being in that area before, but I had the camera wayy out and didn't see the footprints. Took care of all the business down there and am now back in town, about to speak to the Mayor again...

Neilium - SPOILER ALERT
In the SW Ogre's Cave, and in the store room to the south of it, there are secret doors to the other respective levels. Do the store room first. The gnome thief should be able to help. _________________________ Well, y'know... Sometimes you eat the bar, and..

Hi U! :)
I took a detour from the "Tower" and wound up in Dundraville! Having fun as always, but I'll have to admit I need a little direction...
I found the infamous Ogre and delivered the proof to the Mayor, and, and...well, I have no idea what to do next! I hate when this happens, but I retraced my steps and went everywhere there is to go on the map. I've spoken to everyone I can, and have entered every door that will open. I'm obviously missing something somewhere, but I'm stumped. Can I have a little push please?
(Oh, I took the gnome rogue and the sorceress as my henches if that matters.)
Thanks in advance!

A funny module! Though in my opinion the narration on entering rooms would be better as floating text when enter in the room.
