It probably favors a fighter class, but a well-played mage could be a good choice also.

Description
***This module was previously known as "Breaking Bad"***
"It is said that years ago a great general rose up from the Abyss and struck terror into the hearts of those in the upper planes by carving a path of destruction through the heavens. The celestial army responded with a swift and brutal counter-offensive led by their best general; a solar named 'Pevlanar'. As the war raged, it became clear that neither side was defeating the other and many soldiers were falling on both sides. As the two generals battled each other in the skies, there was a brilliant flash of light and instantly both generals were gone. And the war came to a sudden standstill.
That was 2,200 years ago."
Features
--------------------------
- 3 endings
- Optional combat in some areas.
- Possible alignment shifting.
- and various other little things here and there.
This module is designed as a single player adventure. If you find any problems with it, please let me know.
ATTN: You will need CEP 2.3 to play this, SoU and HoTU both installed, and patch 1.69.
*All the updates I have made to this module can be found in the readme file*
I apparently renamed this module after something that is already out there. Sorry about that, it was completely unintentional. I don't really want to rename it again, but I will if I have to.

A very interesting module with outstanding visuals.
It's probably worth 7.5 but I gave it an extra point.

Hi, just checked in and saw your comment from 10-24-12 (today is 11-27-12) so thanks for the update! I applied the v1.4 changes and was finally able to escape the catacombs and finish the game, yay! Thanks again for a great mod!
(ps...no, I never got any email, sorry. Thanks for trying though!) :)
Hi Neilium, I know it's been a long time since you asked your question, but did you get my email? At any rate, I added a map pin in the catacombs now so players can find their way out.

Hi all!
I decided to play this again (newer version) and I'm ashamed to say that I'm stumped. I can't seem to find a way out of the "Catacombs". Could anyone give me a hint/clue/push/kick in the right direction? Thanks in advance!

I tried to play it but could not. Please fix it and I will review and vote.
Some Issues/Bugs:
- Item Strip (just document it somewhere)
- Alignment (Evil best, Neutral ok)
- cutscene (dream) is buggy. Only worked once
- conversation w 3 guys bugged (never got a chance to ask for the plot item, could be due to the fact that I picked the lock to explore the area)
Yes, you're right.. there is an item strip in the beginning of the module because the character is in a dream at the time. If you play for 5-10 minutes longer you get all your items back.
I don't think any module deserves a rating of "1" just because you refused to play past the beginning of it no matter how "temporary" the vote is.

Item strip w/o warning (in a 2011!) module is not acceptable.
Hi jml, good to see you posting on here! I think you're probably referring to the song "Voodoo" by Godsmack. I know I'm probably not *suppose* to do that, but I did modify and shorten the song so It's not what it would be normally.
If anyone knows what is that amazing music playing near the start, in the "Tomb of the Forgotten"...
please, let me know. _________________________ @ + jml
There is a very ennoying bug in the current version, at the very begining in the Tomb of the Forgotten. You might find yourself unable to leave that area, trapped behind a locked stone door.
Just be very careful with the way you're going to manage "a certain chest" here:
once you've got finally a free access to that chest, click on it to open it, but, right after that, click again on it to close it.
That second "unnecessary but mandatory" click should open a "special door" right behind you.

I'm somewhat torn (as well as stalled in the game.) I found the module to be quite linear, despite there being several possible endings. I was given choices, but it seemed every choice offered was essentially "do something questionably evil, or give up and go home." I ran into DMs who ran things that way in PnP back in the day, and was usually somewhat disappointed by it. When I reached the point in Dusambey with the Retriever, I stalled repeatedly in the midst of the fight, and no amount of saves, back-tracks, or revert games seemed to help at all. I stalled about 6 times completely, and on the last, froze my entire computer. Admittedly, there is likely a lot of the game I'm missing, but I'm afraid the feeling of there being no options but evil or mostly evil left me with little will to continue ply. I hate giving bad ratings- the storyline seems a good one, and the layout and general build are excellent too. _________________________ "There's no religion but time & motion-

No problem, furball. Glad you liked it. It's quite an honor for me to hear it's one of your favorites. As soon as I get my computer fixed I'll be working on another.

I just want to apologize that I voted more than once. I should have made sure it was set to comment only. Dkstrick your mod is one of my favorites.
furball is right, This module can be a little touchy when it comes to outside influences. I've had many bugs reported that I can't get to happen to me when I test it. You may have to temporarily folder your override files for this module to run smoothly. Sorry about that. That problem may have something to do with CEP 2.3.
Currently the computer I make these on is screwed up so it may be a while before I can update this module. Finding computer parts in Ghana here can be a real wild goose chase at times. I'll try to make some more updates to this when I can.

ThraMe make sure you have nothing in your overide folder.
I'd love to play this module, it looks pretty promising, but I'm stuck at the Tomb of the Forgotten; no magic door opens with the chest. I restarted a couple of times and even redownloaded the module file but the same thing happens every time: I speak with the demon, I open the chest with my stuff and then I'm just stuck there. Any ideas?
Hey, thanks alot! I really appreciate that. I'm trying to come up with my next module right now, and when we builders get comments like that it really spurs us forward, so thanks again.
I'm sorry for these little tick-tacky bugs, I'm trying to squash them all as fast as I can. I'm going to have to go back and play through it again and see if I can round up any other bugs that may be lurking.
Valduil is giving you the cold shoulder, eh? I'm going to have to teach him some manners in my next update. You should be able to talk to him as much as you want.
Again, thanks a lot for the feedback!

I was able to finally finish it by making sure I opened the chest at the gutted gorgon.
When saving in this mod or any mod(this mod seems to be more sensitive to this) save in different slots.
Just wondering if this is a bug or by design I can only talk to the merchant Valduil hendles once.
I am giving it 9.75 rating. I can tell hard work was done to avoid bugs. I feel there might be a few minor things that could be worked on. Its still great as is. Thank-you for making it.

Outstanding module, better than some Bioware produced. Only problem was in the Tomb of the Forgotten -- even after releasing the demon, still had the same old regular door, nothing magic. But after restarting the game, all was OK. Were it not for this minor glitch, I'd have given you a 10. Great job!!

I do not think I did open the chest at the gutted gorgon. I think you might have found the problem. Thank-you for checking up on this.
Did you open the chest at The Gutted Gorgon in the beginning? If you didn't, that may be where the problem lies. An oversight on my part I believe is causing this. I'll fix it in the next couple days. Sorry about that.

I was not able to get into the trampala flower nursery. The guard at the door does give any options to let me in because I think it's because I do not have the Defenders of the red banner and forged document. I got them when I got quest but then lost them. It just said aquired item so I got it but then it said lost item. So I lost them I know I had them for a few moments because I checked my inventory.
Were you able to get into the Trampala flower nursery? If so, don't worry about the quest log, just take the flowers to Silver, or at least back to the Merchant's Exchange building. I'll fix that quest log entry on my next update.

Sorry by accident I sent my comment without finishing what I meant to say...
----Spoilers---
In the Tiptoe Through the Tulips quest It says I aquired item: Defenders of the red banner and forged procurement document but then it said right after lost item:Defenders of the red banner and lost item:forged procurement document. In the quest log it says I need those two items and I can't seem to move on without them.

Great mod so far. I ran into what i think is might be a bug.
-----spoilers-----
LilWaynn, Thanks alot for the vote, I really appreciate it!
seekwhence,
Hmm... sounds like a glitch. I haven't encountered this one before, but try reopening the chest, that should trigger the door to appear. If not, just restart the game. I'll look into this problem. Sorry about that.
