You have washed ashore on Rethgaard, a small island west of Waterdeep, deeply wounded from the pirate attack on your vessel. There is but one task before you, recover your strength and find a way to Evermeet. The message you carry must be delivered to Queen Amlaruil, before it is too late. There is an optional introduction movie you can downloadhere: http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=movies.Detail&id=85 Note: This has been updated for SoU compatability. You must get the latest hak in order to play.
Can someone help me? I've got all 3 parts of the Rod of Ultimate Defense, but for whatever reason can't figure out how to put them together. The readme mentions assembling them but doesn't say how. Could someone email me and let me know if you've done it, and how you did it?

This whole series of modules is awesome! Thank you, to Mr. Miller for making this great game.

Don't like being put in prison and miraculously escaping because I was at the right place at the right time. Flying the dragon was cool. _________________________ The road to Ravenloft is paved with good intentions.

Buggy model!! All the Shadow Lords were fine then I play the Dreamcatcher and have issues. The most annoying is that I can only get the first 2 pages of my inventory from the chest in the tower in Rethgaard. Luckily my main armor and weapon are on the first two pages but not my money. Not sure I'll bother finishing this one.

I loved Shadowlords and Dreamcatcher. I literally cried when halfway through Dreamcatcher I learned that Anera was supposedly dead.

Dreamcatcher has some fancy scripted cutscenes. They look great but can crash you. I have never successfully watched the second half of the epilogue. I always crash immediately after the darkness. I'm having exactly the same problem: NWN crashes on me upon reaching the second have of the epilogue. I played through Shadowlords and Dreamcatcher 1-2 without problems. Any ideas on a possible fix? I'd hate to not to get to see the ending after all of that effort ;-)

Um- wow... DC3 was a totally amazing experience for me. SPOILERS: Can you persevere in an area with reduced HP, no place to rest, no spells (for a spellcaster) and a moderate curse placed on you? DC3 gives you the chance to find out. Indeed, the "Trial" area was one of the hardest areas I've ever seen in a NWN mod. That's not to say it isn't doable- but it DOES force you to think of your hit points as a "natural resource", as it were. (I found that out the hard way; after one particularly difficult room, I managed to survive intact, but with only 4 HP to my name.) Following the Trial, DC3 provided a nice array of mini-quests around town for your adventurer to consider, before finally getting to your main quest: finding a good dragon to fly you to Evermeet. The road to the dragon has more than enough obstacles to keep your attention: ghost dwarves, moral quandaries involving a prisoner, pits to jump over, etc. DC3 really makes you think about how to proceed, too, as many decisions have moral consequences and alignment shifts. (My NG wizard/ranger would end up finishing this module as a LG character.) Eventually, after a most daunting opponent, you are successful in achieving your main goal. This leads to yet another of the most innovative hooks I've ever seen in a NWN mod, as you get to control the movements of a gold dragon. Just too cool... I can't recall coming across a single bug in the module, either. This was truly a pleasure from start to finish. _________________________ NWN: Shifter Expanded Classes hak, GLWizard Spell Pack NWN2: GLWizard Spellpack with Extra Invocations

The most fun I have had in any NWN module was found in this series.
