I started this with two friends, and right from the start we felt something was not right in this module. We had no real sense of purpose and things seemed liitle off. I mean, sure there was this quest for taking some note to this guy in the caves, but we really didn't know why that would be our business. Well we did it nonetheless, and my character touched the pillar we found near the guy. Whoosh! I died. Okay, I respawned, ran thru the areas to join my group and we continued to search the caves. We found weird things and nothing to point us in any real direction. We returned to the town, cleared the forest of goblins and dealt with the fairies, returned to the town, took the dwarf with us, went lower in the caves, died, loaded the game several times, and lost the dwarf in a way too hard fight. We searched on, found a dwarven city underground, and about six hours of real time play had searched all areas near that, finding no trace of the missing person the dwarves asked us to look for, and returned back to the surface. We had now several pieces of clues, but nothing solid, and still no real sense of purpose. Why should we be doing these things they ask us? We went thru some water elemental cave, killed some big baddy, and nothing. We searched the area east of town, and I have to say, it was the poorliest designed area I've seen in a long time. Huge area with next to nothing in it. A road that leaves to nowhere. A dark forest, in which "we don't want to enter"? WTF, of course we want! In conclusion: Too many leads with not enough interest and not well enough made. We had several multiplayer related problems with quests and other stuff. And right from the beginning we felt that something was amiss in the module, but we thought it was just part of it being mysterious and all. Nope, it was just bad writing and bad scripting. The module was a big disappointment.

Don't know how to edit my previous post, but I was so concerned about this I found a nwvault chat and someone there stopped this forced "join ign insider or don't get to download" screen from coming up on this mod, but I don't know if that will work for all mods. Goin to enjoy myself now and download this mod and play. _________________________ Does this armor make my butt look big?

ALERT... When I try to download your mod I get a page that says "Due to the popularity of this file you must choose a download method" and then the only method offered is "Join IGN insider and download it immediately" Just to let you know, I've joined IGN insider in the past and de-selected the options to receive all free advertising, newsletters, etc. It said I joined but when I tried to download anything from their site, it would come up with "you must join". Windhawk, and all other glorious builders within hearing, unless you want to submit your fans to all the advertising, popups, blah, blah, blah, then your module will never be played or voted. (Please do not confuse nwvault.ign.com with ign because Maximus has done a wonderful job keeping neverwinter mod downloads free of unwanted advertising. I can only think this may be a new way for IGN to push it onto us if Maximus wants to continue our nwvault page? Maybe it's time to find a new advertiser/sponsor?) _________________________ Does this armor make my butt look big?

I'm just starting on this and have a couple of questions. 1 - I seem not to get Elorian, the bowman at the inn, as a possible henchman. Is there a condition on him? 2 - Is there any hints that can be given regarding the secret treasure vault? I always get the prize statue but I'm thinking there is something else I have to do.

Help! OK, I must be missing something. I'm at the door located at the centre of the Drow Temple, level4. I need a "specific key" to get thru but can't find anything. I have also used the pull chain in the North East Room. So what do I need to get thru the door and where/how do I get it? (OK so I'm in serious need of a draught of Fox's Cunning ) Thanks for your hard work in creating this module, I'm really getting into this!

Well, I'm stuck at the beginning of the dwarven area. I've got a mines key that doesn't seem to open any doors. I died during the battle with the hojillion orcs and ogres, perhaps that's the problem? Neither the two rusted doors open, and the portcullis stays closed as well. :(

To Windhawk - Regarding my request for help just below this message, please disregard it. I figured out the chain / lever sequence after searching the north side of the first sunken temple level and have since completed the mod. Nice work and please let us know when part two is ready for download. Thanks, Terry

WARNING: SPOILERS BELOW!!! Hi Windhawk - I've been enjoying your mod for a couple of nights now but like some of the other people here, have run into several serious bugs. Been able to cheat around them up to a certain point, one that seems to be a total deadend. The first bug was the same southwest corner door mentioned before in the mines that never unlocked despite pulling all the levers and getting the proper text message. The second was that the door inside the crypt (that is accessible from the mines below) never unlocks from the either side. The third is that the gate guard at the estate never acknowledges my charcater even when he has the invitation in the inventory and is wearing the fornal attire, unamred. He never offers to unlock that gate period (and yes I have completed most all the early quests and do have the Demon Fire rod as well as the dwarven alchemist's rod). I have also spoken to the wizard in town about the rod and done everything else possible but still never get a dialog option about the gate / invitation. All the above bugs I have been able to get around using alternate routes and/or the plus sign cheat in DebugMode to get past locked doors where you can see the area on other side. Therefore I was able to get out of the crypts and inside the estate. As a result, I have seen the cut scene at the party, gotten the proper quest update and traveled to the sunken temple killing all spiders inside and out. This brings me to the present bug (or at least I assume it's one) on the first level of the temple. I have killed and looted everything on that level and searched it very carefully pixel by pixel several times. I of course found the chain next to the alter and the lever in the final room near the stairs down and assume that either the chain and/or the lever have something to do with unlocking that door or a teleport trigger as there is no key in sights and no amount of lockpicking or bashing works. Just as a footnote, I made a clean save before touching either the chain or the lever in the sunken temple and that is where I am stuck right now. Have I missed something along the way? Is there a dialog trigger or inventory item I am missing? Does the alter have something to do with unlocking the door? Or is there a special combination of pulling the chain and lever that opens it? Please advise when time permits as I'm anxious to get past this point and onto the rest of your otherwise fun, well-made mod. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. Cheers, Terry
