This is my 'Classes Editor', which allows you to create, edit and install new customized classes in NeverWinter Nights. This program is NOT another 2DA editor, so you won't need any technical knowledge to use the editor. It's now SoU AND HotU compatible, and I added internationalization also. This is a Beta-test version, so please send me comments (or bugs :( ). Important note : The .NET Framework 1.1 is required!

One last thing: please make the program spell compatible! I beg you! _________________________ I'm a NWN1 Builder and a NWN2 DM for Jewel of Calimshan PW, who are just out of beta. Link

Oh, also, very funny "test" class. "Tezsters are people who are skilled at testing. They normally take a career in testing, sometimes even becoming Testing Chiefs, if they are good enough."

I haven't tried it yet, but by the screenshot it looks like a very well made program.
Kudos. _________________________ I'm a NWN1 Builder and a NWN2 DM for Jewel of Calimshan PW, who are just out of beta. Link

What is rez? It keeps telling me "I think you wont need any rez with this class"

Nice. Just what I was looking for. But Im having a bit of trouble with instlling them. The thing keeps coming up and saying that there is something missing when i click install selected class.
I have to say that the only other things that I had a problem with was the lack of a readme and the fact that you cant use your own feats and stuff.
Good work! Looking forward to the Updated version.

A read ne plZ! i love the idea of makinging a class, just have to figure out how to load my made character you know, with the error thing popping up
the problem is that when you use the italian version in the menues compare (for exemple) "amp;File", instead of "File".
Also the dimension of the various labels (for exemple "Name (male)) are too little, and the content is visualized cutted (up and down).
Also the "Skills" and "Feats" are still in english (you didn't give me the translation of these parts of the program)...
Bye

I have the same problem as Artifex0; the .rar file seems corrupted.
Posted by Artifex0 ( 66.140.xxx.xxx ) at 2004-05-28 17:26:00
-the .rar file seems to be corrupted- I tried on several systems, same thing.
Is there an alternate download location?

How soon will the new HoU version come out...really soon?
I hope at least.
Its a great program but it just needs compatibility
Posted by Anonymous ( 24.8.xxx.xxx ) at 2004-05-09 17:35:00
This is cool, can you make it so that the program packages up the 2da files in order for inclusion into the prc pack?
Thanks!

i get "The application failed to initialise properly (0xc0000135), click ok etc.
Posted by elegos ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2004-04-13 11:32:00
Probably you haven't got Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 installed correctly... try to reinstall .NET Framework 1.1 or redownload the program. This error is as the precedent version BUG. It is relesed a new version...

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
application or machine (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
rather than being handled by this dialog.

I can't run it, because once I unrar it in the NeverwinterNights/NWN folder, when I try to run the second icon thing (Classes Editor), it gives the error message:

When I press Continue nothing happens. And the first icon Install/Uninstall classes gives a message "Version mismatch". I have NWN+SoU+HotU 1.62. What seems to be the problem?

HotU version released !!!!
Posted by Senor MaTanza ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2004-03-22 06:11:00
Elegos : It's not a bug :) it's impossible to create a class and use it to create your character. Tell Bioware to correct this :p
I very very busy at the moment and i'm trying to finish debugging of the next version :(
I think i'll release it.... let's say.... I'll try to finish before 1st of April (i hope..)
Posted by elegos ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2004-03-16 03:34:00
For BUG the new classes cannot be selected at first level, so you must select a primary class as Barbarian and then your new class...
Posted by Nineven ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2004-03-09 22:38:00
Okay does this allow you to add new NON-PRESTIGE classes? I must know I've been trying to figure out how to add non-prestige classes (not so easy when you have no idea what you're doing LOL). Anyways it would be great if you could answer this for me, nice addition to the vault by the way can't wait for HotU version ;)
