Description
*** Requires Nwn 1.66, and all released expansions (SoU, HotU, and CEP 1.52) ***

You can enthrone the god or goddess of your choice in absolute glory! Whether
you've just arrived after passing into the light, or if you are just visiting
on an epic outer-planar or out-of-body journey, the Heavenly Court is truly an
awe-inspiring place... of otherworldly majesty. You've been through all of the
lower planes until now you know them by heart; so now... it's time to ascend to
a place where few adventurers have ever tread... and that even fewer builders have ever attempted to depict: the most sacred hall of Heaven itself. Behold...
Architecture is an interesting blend of both eastern and western cultures so as to be a suitable dwelling-place for any divine beings from all myths and every faith! Those familiar with the book of Revelation will be equally pleased to see depicted here the Seven Lampstands, the Rainbow around the Divine Throne, the 24 Seats, and the floor being like unto glass, or crystal, as some Bible translations have it. Compare now the following verses, and see how close:

Revelation 4:1 - "I looked, and, behold: a door was opened in heaven!"
*** The doors I placed at the entrance to the Temple Divine represent this. ***

Revelation 4:3 - "There was a rainbow round the throne, in colour like unto an emerald in sight of the throne."
*** The colored light shafts and magic sparks produce the effect exactly. ***

Revelation 4:4 - "Round about the throne were four and twenty seats."
*** You can find all of these spread out before the throne, all usable. ***

Revelation 4:5 - "Out of the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices: and there were seven lampstands of fire burning before the throne, the seven Spirits of God."
*** I found the perfect sound effects for the lightning, thunder, voices...
it's set up for magic chants to sound the closer you get to the throne, in fact! Standard candelabra placeables, with flames high above them did the trick for the seven lampstands and the seven Spirits. It looks convincing! ***

Revelation 4:6 - "And before the throne there was a sea of glass like crystal."
*** The very reason picked the tileset that I did to represent this place was that the Frozen Wastes have the crystal looking walls and floor. But the Wastes have probably never been used for any interior setting like this before! ***

Revelation 5:1 - "At the right hand of him that sat upon the throne: a book sealed with seven seals."
*** That big book on the pedestal, to the right (your left) of the throne is intended to represent this book. ***

You can see the accuracy with which I have designed this prefab, and I truly
hope players and builders alike will appreciate the fine attention to detail
in even the little things that all make this prefab a place worth visiting.

Package contains an .erf ready to add into any CEP-compatible module, and a demo module as well, so you can see how everything is set up in-game.

ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! I DM on a small server where "magic" doesn't exist (it's all explained through science, eg., psychics, genetic mutations, etc.) and most religious people are considered whackos (one of my characters is a combination of every televangelist you have ever seen). I would LOVE to add a few things to make it compatible with the mod (I have a DM character that this would PERFECT for!!!!). Is that all right?

Woohoo, what a fertile board for chaos. Good thing it has a theocrat. Just my 2 cents. I am pagan, have been my whole life, so never really had to overcome any of that making-a-break-from-christianity thing. I don't have a use for this prefab, I can't even see it, because I have CEP stripped out of my machine for another project. But I do know this-the amount of work that goes into building any area of any quality of any size should be respected. And then it's _shared_ with you--what a bonus. And shared to help you realize your own vision, if you need it? Totally cool. The fact that it is biblical in subject matter--so what! The jewish-based myths are as fertile a ground for learning and RP as any, and are shared by billions. I have two fine young boys, and in addition to other pagan instruction, bible study will be encouraged. All the way back to the original languages, if they show a passion. To toss out all of the accumulated wisdom of the levantine religions just because some of their adherents like to kill people or do other wacky stuff is just silly. Homicide and insanity transcend all known cultural barriers. Learning should too. _________________________ Link The Hall of Stormborns! Calling all shadowfolk! arriin shadowblade... good quote from Dante's Divine Comedy! I believe that was from the Inferno, Canto III, lines 1 through 9. Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradisio are, collectively, one of the all-time best works of classical poetic literature, and together comprise one of my all-time personal favorite tales. Few today realize that Dante was, in a way, the original Outer-planar explorer and adventurer. DD's Outer Planes are built almost wholly upon his cosmology, where names such as Dis and Caina were first applied to the Hells of fire and ice that we who play DD know only too well. My module, Knights of the Holy Grail, features a lot of Dante-inspired imagery in the Hell/Purgatory/Heaven sequences. The newest version features a fully fleshed-out Heavenly Court and one of the angels in the game actually mentions Dante in passing. Likewise, I used the phrase: "Abandon hope, all ye who enter here!" upon the gate to Hell in that module as well, as a tribute to Dante's works, which partly inspired my own. In any case, thanks for the votes, all, and farewell for now. I must away!

einz plus plus! _________________________ "Through me the way into the suffering city, Through me the way to the eternal pain, Through me the way that runs among the lost. Justice urged on my high artificer; My maker was divine authority, The highest wisdom, and the primal love. Before me nothing but eternal things were made, And I endure eternally. Abandon every hope, ye who enter here."

It's been a while since I popped in to see how this is doing... and it does my heart good... to see it's still popular and getting high votes! It was, and is, one of the best of all the prefabs that I have released to the Vault (in my own humble opinion anyway), and I'm glad to see people still like it as much as I liked building it. I may have done more recent prefabs than this, but this was just something special and it still has the magic to make people say WOW! What more can any builder ask of his or her creation? Thanks for the recent votes, everybody, as well as for your ongoing interest in my work. I must go for now; fare you well, and remember: have fun!

vinfree. Being bisexual, no I'm not offended by your use of the word gay. Honestly? When I posted that I had just had an argument with a Christian who was adamant that I was going to "hell". I was just in a crappy mood. Bleh.

WOW!! I have found Vahalla !! What an awesome build. Looks great to me. Cant wait to use it. I have the perfect setting in a mod I have been slowly working. Glad I stumbled upon this Gem. Off topic----> Had to laugh at Jamines' comments about viewer suitability. Uhh... lets see this is a game that deals with the full spectrum of Demons, Devils, Gods and Godesses from the total experience and imagination of humanity of good and evil and everything in between... uhh yeah, refering to passages of a religeous book such as the Bible is unsuitable for children to view here.... Hello!! is anybody in there?? :)
