Find the script: area_despawner Place it on the onexit script field for your area. It will despawn all dropped items (except plot) and all encounter generated creatures after 30 seconds. I have used this script on Adventure Island for 2 years and it works flawlessly. The code is very efficient and takes into account if a player enters the area while the 30 second ticker is still going. This script is a life saved for a persistent world. Silverti Quicksilver Adventure Island IGN Vault Hall of Fame PW Story All I ask is that you use this script, please drop an IGN rating on it.
The approval of our peers is the most powerful force in the universe. Thanks a bunch, it works great.

"thanks for the posting but why so long. you said youve used this for 2 years.. Hmm i guess you wanted to make sure it worked lol " Well, for one reason. There is nothing really in it for me except to make my competition better. But that does not bother me much. What bothers me is that right now 89 people downloaded it and I only have 1 review! I have a lot more bits of code I could put up but there is no reason to if people cant even give you credit for the code! It only takes like 30 seconds to review code on the IGN forums! Im all about helping the community but thats a give and take and I have noticed that is usually take. I personally have rated a 10 on ever script I have used in AI. _________________________ Creater / Designer / Host Adventure Island 1: NWN Adventure Island 2: NWN2 Link

In AI, most epic critters are also on encounters. When this script destroys the critter, the critter does not leave loot at all (destroying the object does not cause it to drop loot). In effect, it also stops people from zoning in and out of an area repeatedly to kill a critter that they should not be able to stand up to (unless it follows them of course). _________________________ Creater / Designer / Host Adventure Island 1: NWN Adventure Island 2: NWN2 Link

giantkin. If you run in and spawn a bunch of monsters by hitting triggers, you will have to cover a lot of ground, and spawn a bunch of monsters. So, the monsters you spawn will be chasing you around. Also the timing on the triggers, as in AI, can be set to a short reset. The kind of thing you are describing just is not possible, at least in AI.

I assume it only fires when the last player exits an area. Nice package. I'll have to give it a spin.---Aidonor Dragon's Prophecy PW Admin Link dragonsprophecy@cinci.rr.com XCR dev team member _________________________ ---Aidonor Dragon's Prophecy PW Admin aidonor@(removeifnotspam)dragonsprophecy.net
