It's almost perfect, needs a bit of GM presence and events, then it will be, I am having fun in Haven.

I have played here over a year. There is a lot of ground-breaking things on it. kemo did ALOT of work. This server has managed to allow something for most anyone old enough to play, from plain old role-play to mindless hacking and slashing. They even have a place for prudes. someone has to be shocked.

I find it amazing that they managed to do all this without changing a single spell, or class, or requiring any kind of application.It is a place where your imagination can run wild. And no dm is going to have a bad day because he or she did not get to be heavy handed. the dms here are more concerned about having fun and making sure others do so also.

The crafting system is really unique, designed so anyone can have soem fun, even if they are js fishing and selling it. YOu are able to walk on the beds, and as for positions youcan be in, it is a very alrge variety. different positions you can have. You can make your own outfits. Many many patterns that you can make almost any color.

This is not just a place to come and erp. You can have fun here also.

The server... Is without question an adult only server, if only because it is a server of orgies. There are no plots. There are no stories. A persistent world needs something to be persistent around, and this PW just doesn't cut it.

Can be interesting, but the general consensus by many to be a 'cesspool'. The DMs often make drastic changes that effect gameplay, without consulting their player base. Can really be a blast, but the head admins put a large dent in allowing it to be a place for real roleplay.

No plots. Sexual utopia. If that was what made up a PW, it should have a perfect 10. Shallow as it is, I feel uncomfortable giving it even a 2.

Starting with a "technical" review: Haven is amazingly customized, more than anything you've seen, from a full replacement of crafting, including many new crafts like fishing and herb lore, to a large number of interactive items, and the amazing KEMO animations. The area design is excellent and unique: as a social server, there's not a hundred different areas to hunt, so all areas are populated most of the time. There's art and beauty, and a purpose, in every area you will see there. Can you grind and powerbuild? sure, maybe not the best PW for it, but people also grind and hunt, and munchkin in this world. Lag? the usual one in a PW, but not biggie for RPing and socializing.

Now the meaty part. Haven is an extremely mature-content PW, be aware of it before you even try it. If you would be offended by that, you should probably not come to Haven. However, this is not a "silly ERP server" where people log in to have their quick fun: Haven is "mature" in more than one sense. This is a very serious and successful effort to emulate a world where ERP has its place, within a context of heavy RP, intense themes and epic fantasy. There's always something going on in Sharessia, and while DM events are numerous, original and well-planned, it's often the small RP scenes involving just players what brings the server to life: street merchants, weddings, arena challenges, arguments in a tavern that come to blows... because the player base is an excellent crowd of experienced RP'ers. Everybody (almost) understands the difference between IC and OOC, and for example you can have one character kidnapping another while, in private tells, they're extremely friendly and already planning the next scene while having a lot of fun. There's a lot of respect and tolerance, and OOC niceness, which for me is a must, because OOC conflict is what can actually ruin your fun and make you forget this is just a game.

Definitely the most entertaining PW I have ever played! I fully agree that Kingdom of Haven is addicting - once you join, you'll never want to leave!

The community is amazing - if you like to roleplay, this is the place to be.

Not only are the DMs creative and responsive, but the players themselves are wholly dedicated to making the world a fun place. With such a wide range of interesting characters (more evidence of the players' creativity!) it is darn near impossible to not have fun.

The ERP aspect to this world is well-maintained, thanks to all persons involved. Unlike some "Adult PWs" that seem like nothing more than a fancy animated chatroom, Kingdom of Haven really does emphasize the RP part of ERP. The master-slave aspect is intriguing as well.

The module, on a technical level, is equally outstanding. I have not run across a single problem yet.

If I could give a rating higher than 10.00, I would.

First off, this is the most customized PW I have ever been on. There are more specialty things on Haven than anywhere else, and things are always being tweaked. A large number of PWs seem to borrow from KEMO�s work there too.

This is the second most populated PW � so, there are lots of people to RP with. I have met some of the best role players ever on this PW. Haven falls into magnificent categories that no other PW can even touch � you will just have to play there to see what I am referring to.

Haven has become my favorite NWN2 server, and I cannot wait to see what the Sysops are going to do with it yet. I have even recommended this PW out in public. So, if you are an adult and want to have some fun RP, then come to the Kingdom of Haven soon.

Sorry you had less than the best experience. That does happen from time to time, even tho we do spend a fair amount of effort on new player experience. It is different than many other servers, and can take a bit to adapt. Anyway hope you find something more to your taste, or come back and give it another try. Have fun!

Truly a great place. Great DMs who also play, great people of all personalities. Interesting guilds and events. I already have more characters then time to play them! Living server. Note Gloom is gone and has been replaced with recent content. KEMO and ERP, need I say more - so much custom content. For mature adult players.

Decent, but when I came here, I encountered players that were very arrogant the first two days I was on the server (and only two). Seems to sacrifice RP for big boom, just my opinion.

Great community, well built structure, full of great people and has good role play. I'd recomend it to any 'Mature' audlt players out there.

I only discovered Haven this last month, but it is the best persistent world I've found using the NWN2 engine. I find myself becoming addicted, even if I can only manage a couple of hours a day now!

I would recommend it to any of my friends, except some of my local LAN friends who are underage! Not for prudes or the fainthearted, but the rest of us - oh yeah!
